@rBillSimmonsPod Still not as bad as Sal saying over and over that Allen is 0-6 in divisional round. The guy played in a AFC championship *checks notes* LAST YEAR
@RSherman_25@slimjimmeyer1@Hirschy__ Bro where was Sam Darnold going to take this team? Did you watch his last 2 games or are we pretending they didn’t happen?
Respect you, Tony, but I understand how it works. The NSAA is its members. Members set the rules. It’s a built-in excuse to push aside problems that surface with a governance or enforcement issue. And it’s a backwards way to lead.
The NCAA hid behind the same argument for decades, then it got sued into the next century.
Someone can always step up to fix the problem. I get that it takes a commitment and organization from the schools. But it also takes bold leadership, no matter where it comes from, and a desire at the state level to address inequities. Membership in other states have taken action. It can happen in Nebraska, too.
If not, the leaders in Nebraska high school sports — football is just the most visible example — will continue by their inaction and passing-the-buck attitude to discourage kids from underprivileged districts from even trying to compete.
Dear NFL Fans,
No matter how good you think the Vikings are, they’re even better.
If no one else will say it on national TV, I will.
