Yesterday I got arrested whilst filming a @JustStop_Oil supporter holding a banner on the pavement near the coronation route. I'm a filmmaker and had my @BECTU press accreditation visible around my neck.

Police deemed this to be "conspiracy to commit a public nuisance".

If he's correct (and case cited suggests he could) then for it to be legal the TUs must have agreed. Did they?

In the UK the number of cases rose rapidly.
But the public – and authorities – are only learning this now because these cases were only published now as a backlog.

The reason was apparently that the database is managed in Excel and the number of columns had reached the maximum.

Ive been predicting that COVID-19 surveillance will be particularly intense on campus ; but I hadn't joined it up to preCOVID datification and profiling( see work in US on free MOOCs and their use to gather data). Next ; Google provides the software free and takes the data 😂
