@themagic_tophat Still waiting on my Champions shirt.. they stopped replying to my service ticket about a month ago when I noticed it was restocked on the website. Still radio silence from them ๐คท
@clockendben30 Yeah exactly, whenever I read something on here I always think "would I hear someone say that in a pub before a game" and if the answers no I keep scrolling and ignore ๐
If any company wanted to make an Arsenal Driver head cover like this I suspect they would make a fair whack of money ๐ the Arsenal golf accessories game is lacking ๐

The protests in Ireland are not about just fuel! They are about the distance between Ireland on this graph and every other modern and developed economy. Ireland is second wealthiest but gets waaaaay less than any other country for that wealth. By a golden mile.
That visual gap in this graph? Thatโs what people are protesting. Itโs a lack of infrastructure and the everyday enshittification of services, the economy, and the additional difficulty of trying to live, relative to peers in any other country. It also highlights why people donโt get uniformly listened to! - because there is no government architecture to engage meaningfully across this huge gap.
That gap is a three hour drive to work in traffic, a 14 month wait for an MRI, buses that donโt arrive, trains that donโt exist, schools that have no places for your kids, houses that are unaffordable, pubs that close before midnight, โฌ12 sandwiches, expensive fuel.
People feel this gap, even if they canโt explain it precisely. And that builds into resentment, and ultimately protest. Fuel just happened to be the next thing that could be pointed to, today.
Sinn Fรฉin TDs and Senators met this morning and will be moving a motion of no confidence in the government. The actions of Fianna Fรกil, Fine Gael and Independents have been disastrous.
They have lost the confidence of the public. It is clear that they still are not listening and do not accept the scale of this fuel and cost of living crisis. All reports indicate it will be more of the same half measures from them this evening. This is unacceptable. We need the maximum reductions now, as proposed by Sinn Fรฉin weeks ago.
