Sudan can’t wait. Neither can we.
As the conflict in Sudan enters its third year, it has become the world’s largest humanitarian crisis. 33 million people, including millions of children, are caught in a conflict that continues to escalate around them.
While children go hungry, weapons are still getting through.
That has to change.
Ahead of the upcoming Berlin Conference on Sudan, we’re calling on the Government of Canada to take two immediate steps:
-Close arms export loopholes
-Lead global efforts to ensure aid reaches children and families

Because something as simple as water should never be out of reach.

I held productive discussions with @JoelCSpicer , President and CEO of Nutrition International, on strengthening 🇪🇹's nutrition programmes and advancing multi-sectoral collaboration.
In our discussions, we underscored the importance of evidence-based decision-making to effectively address malnutrition & to ensure that high-impact interventions reach the most vulnerable communities.
We agreed to enhance coordination and work more closely to accelerate progress and deliver sustainable improvements in nutrition outcomes.

Now, through MenCare groups, families are rethinking equality & sharing responsibility.

Every child should enjoy #ENOUGH nourishing food to thrive.
On this #WorldFoodDay, we stand with the 1.85 million children in Somalia facing empty plates and the 4.4 million going to bed hungry.
Hunger is robbing children of their health, education, and future, but it doesn’t have to. @WVSomalia is working to deliver life-saving nutrition, clean water and long-term solutions to end hunger.
Let’s make “#ENOUGH” a reality for every child. #Endchildhunger #HungryForAct #WorldVision #ENOUGH #WorldFoodDay
John’s story is not unique, it reflects the daily reality of millions of children across the region.
