Fire & Emergency Services | A couple of weeks ago, Belleville Fire were doing water rescue training on the Bay of Quinte to ensure they are ready for any type of emergency!
As fall sets in and water temperature begins to drop, it is extra important for everyone to stay safe while boating or paddling. Here are a few key reminders: 👇
🦺 Always wear a lifejacket
🚤 Have a safety kit on board
📱 Let someone know your plans and expected return time
🪪 Have the proper boating license and follow all marine laws
Cold water can be dangerous even for experienced boaters. Stay prepared and enjoy the water safely!
