People love showing disbelief and anger that bands come from money, but if no-one other than wealthy parents are supporting young bands to pursue their musical careers then that’s not going to change. I don’t think The Last Dinner Party are the problem
@AmericanExpress@Delta Goodbye to Delta and goodbye to Amex Skymiles Platinum card from a loyal Platinum Medallion flyer. Your changes are absolute trash. (Besides, you never made Austin the "mini-hub" you promised, so I'll be happy to be done with the endless connections.)
@Eamonn_Forde Curious as to whether anything from the original had to be edited out for the reprint. I recall McGee taking significant issue with the initial version.
Sunday listening: Everyone loves Ryuichi Sakamoto for different reasons. One of mine is Aztec Camera's beautifully-produced 1993 LP Dreamland, effectively a collaboration between Roddy Frame and Ryuichi (R.I.P.)

Heading to Austin next month? If so, join Aquarium Drunkard and Gold Diggers Friday night, March 17th, for our annual SXSW fête at Lucille on Rainey Street. 8pm-Late.
Loving the retro vibes on this Kolumbo debut. Exotica meets library music meets Steely Dan's Gaucho. Could drop any track onto yer summer mixtape.

R. I. P. Lata Mangeshkar. On this album alone she sings in six different languages. Over her career she recorded songs in more than 30 different languages. Extraordinary.
.@bbymutha, @ShamirBailey, @Sunflower_Bean and more than 300 other artists just joined the 2022 #SXSW Music Festival lineup! Check out the full announcement here. https://t.co/V3H2HjptRh
@tlow87 Aahhh that's so nice. You're welcome, and thank you for listening. Harold Budd definitely one of my all-time favorites. So special. Need to get a new mix done soon!
