@kalaelizabeth ... anthem had a slick trailer too... guess what didnt exist at the time of that trailer

[Error404'd @d_error404]

@ArcadeChannel Bioware died because the focus stopped being "what do the players want", it became "how can my message blend with this story"

And gamers could see that so they stopped showing up, and when the money dies down, investment dries up.

[Error404'd @d_error404]

@Mr_Rebs_ No game no hype, thems the rules

[Error404'd @d_error404]

@kalaelizabeth "We were going to replicate the human experience and you were going to live a second life in the game" a reveal of pre-dev ideas mean fucking nothing

[Error404'd @d_error404]

@Boogie2988 Fuck boogie but glad hes looking healthier and he ain't wrong

[Error404'd @d_error404]

@looploveslore Ooof

[Error404'd @d_error404]

@lastchalice My face is tired

[Error404'd @d_error404]

@KungFuMan316 Damn, thats actually a cool design, now if the writing was the same as we got it wouldn't have saved the game but it would have been better.

[Error404'd @d_error404]

@TidyWire Agreed as long as it was the original devs doing it.

I agree completely with this.

For example, Cyberpunk, BG3 & the Mass Effect trilogy handled representation so much better. The examples are more natural, more mature & better written.

Wokeslop/queerslop ruins games.

We can have representation without hamfisting it.

@ADLegend21 Sure you dont have to have cash in hand but you have to have capital, your dancing around the point and you know it.

[Error404'd @d_error404]

@ADLegend21 With what money?

[Error404'd @d_error404]

@ViewerAnon Here's how, they can shut down the studio, and sell the ip

[Error404'd @d_error404]

From the people who brought you anthem, Andromeda, and veilguard... we promise it'll be good this time!!

[God Empress of Mankind @nuhre_]

"It was going to be the best Mass Effect yet. A return to form. A love letter to the fans. The most ambitious RPG we'd ever made. A game that would redefine the genre, push boundaries, and bring the franchise back to its glory days. We had so many exciting ideas. The potential was limitless. We were really cooking. It would've changed gaming forever."

MOTHERFUCKER, YOU HAD A FUCKING PITCH DECK.

[Error404'd @d_error404]

@nuhre_ THIS, FUCKING THIS

[Error404'd @d_error404]

@spiderkie94 Agreed its multiple things but its clear the culture at bioware had a bias towards the left and has influenced their writing and quality for years. And here we are now

[Error404'd @d_error404]

The only larper's in the case of the #Bioware discussion are the ones pretending bioware today was anything close to bioware pre-2016. Also pretending dragon age origins, ME trilogy are just as woke as veilguard is laughable

[Error404'd @d_error404]

@Kimie_VT Huh I dont remember garrus coming to me and telling me I had to do push-ups because I misgendered Tali, which game was that? 1, 2, or 3?

[Error404'd @d_error404]

@stacycay @megievalist There's a difference between a budget constraints and clear choice to constrain player choice. "We just didnt have the money to let you be evil" is such bullshit and you know it
