I think I've decided it's tine to leave teaching. I've given it all I can, had good results, good relationships with student, but my feedback is always that I'm not doing enough, students are too passive, it's not engaging enough, I'm not getting enough out of them😞
@CheshireEast Are you planning on fixing the roads around Macclesfield, Wilmslow & Bollington anytime soon? All just getting worse & worse. Bad accidents waiting to happen
@northernassist@AndyBurnhamGM There's more than enough time to sort that out, do you not have staff on stand by? As I've said in the run up to Christmas with the markets being on you should be doing everything possible to keep services running, not cancelling them 9hrs in advance
@northernassist@AndyBurnhamGM 2 weekends in a row now the last 2 services from Piccadilly - Macclesfield have been cancelled!! Joke of a service and a joke of a reason. Xmas markets are on, should be doing everything possible to keep things running
@SportsDirectUK Any chance I can talk to an actual person? I've been kicked off your web chat all morning because you cant answer. I need to return an item because you've sent me used trainers!!
@AvantiWestCoast You have just cancelled your 10:37 & 11:37 from Macclesfield to London Euston tomorrow. What is the reason behind this? Why is this such late notice? Why are both cancelled? I can't get a refund for the hotel but now the trip is pointless
Honestly just when you think this government can't get any worse, they do. A highly polluting form of energy, which will still be sold at the same cost by the way, is definitely the way out of the cost of living and climate crisis. Great work.
“Huge reserves of shale” says @trussliz (narrator: fracking will provide barely 1% of energy in next 3 years)
“Where there is local consent” says @trussliz (narrator: recent poll showed fracking has just 4% public support)
Is this really your energy plan??
@firefly1379@TalkTV@JuliaHB1@chilledasad100 If we achieve net zero these things will still happen, but the goal is now to prevent these events becoming more common and more severe. We are locked in to events like this due to historical emissions, but we can limit and mitigate against future events by meeting net zero
My feed is currently just full of climate doomism and tbh I've never felt more disheartened about the future. So articles like this really do not help.
I am so fed up or articles like this. Not only does it not match up with anything in the article but the vast majority will see just the headline and it will spread like wildfire, turning people away from potentially genuine sustainable alternatives😤 https://t.co/O8c36KykN9
@northernassist hi, when are you sorting out the trains on the Hadfield line? You can't surely be saying covid is the reason why there still isn't full service running
The city may also be forced to implement a two-day lockdown to protect people, as some residents of New Delhi are forced to wear masks at home https://t.co/VHRy0G5FVn
#Spain - two screenshots from the above report.
The important colour is orange! The first graph shows the rapid increase in #Beta
But the second graph shows almost ALL cases of #Beta are in the Castilla y León region.
So a good argument for NOT putting Balearics/Canaries on🟠+
