I just hope that some context can be seen for those who use it "appropriately" as car mechanics/tuners when moving the ignition timing earlier (advance), or later (that word).

@ArtistAffame Only acceptable time to use that term is during car engine ignition timing adjustment as a technical term for moving the timing back.
Was it the right term to use back then? Probably not.

But using it as a slur or in generic speech isn't ok, and most definately shouldn't be said

No the 25% pa increase won't apply, but your repayments wouldn't go up - if you even needed one.

For me to attend an event like this, I'd drive to the closest train station (20mins), then train for ~2hrs to Melb, and either swap trains or walk.
Rather than dealing with the congestion and BS

@whysofishy @Wonderwailer @PRGuy17 People on 20k a year or less are tax exempt already, from there upto 45k is getting a 3% cut in tax from 19% to 16%.
This means people on 30k a year will pocket $350, and 40k pockets $650.
I dont know about you, but as an 3rd year apprentice mechanic I'm earning ~36k a year.

@nickj812 @MikeCarlton01 The lockdowns paved the way for the ultra right wing imo, they went looking for an alternative to the typical parties, and UAP made promises that they couldn't refuse.
My neighbour went from a fairly ordinary teacher to a full-blown RW nutter and joined the UAP.
