That’s how the elite and rich lawyers actually see young and poor lawyers. They can suffer all the way. They can be deprived of all the privileges as long as they are doing fine. In my recent engagements in Ilorin, where I was invited to speak at the Young Lawyers’ submit, I argued that if senior lawyers cannot afford to pay young lawyers well, they should either allow them to do private practice on the side, provided it doesn’t affect their work; many senior lawyers, didn’t seem to agree with that position.
