My Innova HyCross is misfiring and giving jerks. Called the service advisor. He’s saying it could be because of the E20 fuel, this despite the fact that I’m using RON95 fuel.
He shocked me by telling me RON95 fuel is also E20 blended. I’m not sure if this is accurate. How can a 95 Octane have 20% ethanol? Are HPCL, BPCL, Indian Oil mislabelling the petrol?
Dear Modiji
You lectured us yesterday to save fuel, carpool and embrace austerity. But here’s how your lecture worked in reality incase you are not aware.
Mumbai–Vadodara Indigo flight 6E 618 was scheduled to land in Vadodara at around 9 pm. The flight has now been diverted to Ahmedabad because Vadodara airport has been shut for commercial operations till your (PM Modi’s) special aircraft takes off for Delhi.
After burning extra fuel to divert, the aircraft hovered over Ahmedabad for several minutes awaiting landing clearance — wasting even more fuel. Passengers suffered delays and inconvenience, all for one VIP movement. Yours.
Sir, you claim that you don't believe in VIP culture. Right now, entire Vadodara airport stands disrupted, commercial flights affected, aviation fuel burnt unnecessarily — but we are told to tighten belts and save petrol.
Austerity for citizens. Privilege for PM?
Tomorrow another lecture on fuel efficiency? Spare us, Sir.

I am getting “Kali” the destroyer. Something has a lot to do with the fact you passed a patience test and the ancestors give you a gift. But it’s not small. Ppl will pray and beg God for forgiveness for all the pain they caused you in love and life.
His name was Nitish Katara.
He was 25 years old. MBA from IMT Ghaziabad. Job at Reliance General Insurance. A regular young man building his life in Delhi.
At college, he fell in love with Bharti Yadav. Her father was D.P. Yadav. Sitting Member of Parliament. One of the most powerful politicians in UP.
They were together for four years. Her family knew. Her brother Vikas knew. Her cousin Vishal knew.
Nitish received threats. He did not leave.
On the night of February 16, 2002, he attended a friend's wedding in Ghaziabad. Bharti was there. Vikas was there. Vishal was there.
They danced. They took photographs.
At midnight, security guards saw Nitish get into a Tata Safari with Vikas, Vishal, and one more man.
He never came back.
The next morning, a burnt body was found 80 km away near Khurja. Beaten with a hammer. Diesel poured on him. Set on fire.
His mother Nilam identified the body by his hand. Nitish had unusually small hands just like hers.
Then the system turned against her.
Witnesses changed their statements one by one. Three out of four turned hostile. Even Bharti went to court and said there was no relationship. Just friendship.
One witness refused to budge. His name was Ajay Katara. No relation. Just a man who had seen Nitish get into that car that night and could not lie about it.
Vikas Yadav banged his fist on the courtroom table and told him he would be buried 100 feet underground.
Ajay did not change his statement.
For the next 20 years, he lived under 24-hour armed guard. 37 cases filed against him. Bullet attempts. Poison attempts. His life never recovered.
Nilam Katara had no political connections. No money like the Yadavs. Just one question that she refused to stop asking.
In 2008, the court convicted Vikas, Vishal, and Sukhdev. The Supreme Court confirmed 25 years without remission.
Vikas has now served 23 years. He recently got married from jail. He applied for furlough to spend time with his wife. The Supreme Court granted it for Holi this year.
Nilam Katara is still fighting.
Her son got justice. The men who killed him are counting their last months in prison. But the witness who made that possible lost everything for telling the truth.
In India, power does not just delay justice. It destroys everyone who stands in its way.
But a mother refused to let it disappear.
Last year I paid a premium of Rs 66,000 for my health insurance policy , a family floater.
Since then GST was removed.
This year my premium is Rs 92,000 . I haven't claimed insurance ever.
This is a loot done brazenly , and our @FinMinIndia & @MoHFW_INDIA has shut it's eyes

There appears to be some operational inconsistency being experienced at certain outlets of @HPCL, including indicative restrictions on HSD (Diesel) dispensing beyond ~200 litres and instances of nozzle suspensions from the backend. In one such case, an RO nozzle was closed during MS (Petrol) dispensing and subsequently restored, with the same communicated as a system-related error.
While these may be precautionary or technical measures, such occurrences can inadvertently lead to confusion among consumers and dealers alike, particularly in the absence of uniform and clearly communicated guidelines.
In the current week, with multiple bank holidays, liquidity and transaction flow at the dealership level may also be impacted—especially where digital banking adoption remains limited. Ensuring smooth product availability along with operational clarity would help maintain public confidence and supply stability.
A coordinated, temporary support framework—both operational and financial—by @FinMinIndia under @nsitharaman , in alignment with Indian Oil Corporation (@IndianOilcl), Bharat Petroleum(@BPCLimited), and Hindustan Petroleum(@HPCL), may help address any transitional challenges effectively.

If I buy 1 kg of sugar & only use 800g today, the shopkeeper doesn't come n take the rest away at midnight. Why does my Telecom operator ?
Data is our digital property. We paid for it. We own it.
Thanks @raghav_chadha for voicing this in Parliament.
@ANI No standard production vehicles in India are E30 compliant yet—only prototypes for E85 flex-fuel exist. All new petrol vehicles are E20 compatible (mandated since Apr 2025), but E30 requires engine/material upgrades. Stop this don’t go for E30
You think you’re drinking Fruit Juice? THINK AGAIN.
Big food brands are selling sugar water with shiny ‘fresh fruit’ pictures on the front. And hiding the truth in tiny fine print at the back of packet which reads ‘Pictures for marketing purposes only’. SERIOUSLY?
Today in Parliament, I called this out.
Because these misleading branding and false advertisement are pushing millions, especially kids, into diabetes and lifestyle diseases.
Time to expose the truth behind your juice box.
@raghav_chadha sir , please look into this matter also , there are some cheap energy drink newly launched, costing only 10 rupees , it’s every where in NCR areas , they are extremely addictive and dangerous to kidney and liver , it’s everywhere, pl ban them
