Storm center Dominique Malonga questioned the officials' thought processes after taking multiple hard hits in loss to Toronto Tempo

Dominique Malonga is out tomorrow for the Seattle Storm with a concussion. She complained after the game on Wednesday that she was receiving too many hard hits without referee interference. One caused her to hit her head on the floor
Well deserved, D1’s, Tay has probably the best set of physical tools in the class of 2027. 6’6 210 guard. Insane athleticism, pure natural strength. Multiple position defender and versatile scorer/playmaker. The accolades speak for themselves. HIGH MAJOR player.
Thanks to my coaches, my teammates, my family and all the people that support me, I’ve been honored by being the only C/O 2027 player in the Power 5 AAA 1st Team All Conference, and All Defensive Team. Just getting started.

🇫🇷 Tayron Malonga
2008 | 6’7” Wing (7’0” Wingspan) | West Nottingham Academy (High School – USA) Junior class 27
Tayron Malonga continues to make a name for himself in the U.S. high school scene. Standing at 6’7” with a 7-foot wingspan, the French wing is emerging as one of the most intriguing international prospects playing in the prep system.
📊 Season Averages:
17 PPG | 5 RPG | 3 APG
Malonga brings a polished offensive game for his age — a smooth mid-range shooter with a clean release from three, and a quick first step that allows him to consistently get downhill and draw fouls. His length and fluidity make him a difficult matchup, and he’s becoming increasingly comfortable creating his own shot.
This week, he delivered one of his best outings of the season, scoring 31 points vs Phelps (PA) and putting together a complete scoring clinic, showing shot-making versatility and confidence as a primary option.
On the recruiting side, he currently holds offers from:
Hampton, Fairfield, NIU, Louisiana Lafayette, UTEP, New Mexico State, Jacksonville State University.
Tayron is also the younger brother of Dominique Malonga, the No. 2 pick in the WNBA Draft — and the bloodline clearly runs strong, with Tayron showing real long-term upside as a modern two-way wing.
