@British_Airways OK, I looked into this Your version 5.03 *only* runs on Android v14 or 14. Android v14 is about 3 years old. So any devices older than 3 years can not use the BA app.
About 13% of all Android devices globally now run >v14 so the rest of those users are, basically, out of luck.
Hi @British_Airways
It seems your app no longer works on older Samsung/Android devices. My banking apps work, my AF & Lufthansa apps work but not BA.
I have Club flights booked from LHR later this month - how do I manage them without buying a new mobile?
@British_Airways Thanks for a prompt reply.. I'll try that but (i) why no warning - I'm a Club Member & (ii) it's rather a poor compromise isn't it? Other airlines seem to manage....
@EP_Lawrence@British_Airways have to agree. I guess BA just don't care anymore. Does Amazon ever fail like they do? No.. and the same is true of many other commercial sites. So sad... they used to be 'The World's favourite airline..' - now an embarrassment.
@riversorare@DanNeidle IMHO the issue is how to remove the cliff edge, not where to move the cliff to.
I really have no idea how this might be achieved.
@pinstripedline Keep at it - you write some excellent stuff - perhaps in this day & age it does not appeal to some clickbait readers but surly that's a good thing!
@Se_Railway@TheBee1845 I too suffer from this on the Hastings branch. I really don't want or need explanations, I'd just like clean trains that run to time and don't cost a fortune.. Thanks.
