Especially early childhood educators. Research will tell you that the first 7 years of a child’s life as the most formative. If we do not pay ECEs well, we will not attract the best people in this field. Our children will miss out and future generations will pay the price.

The Ford government has a monopoly on education as the largest employer of education workers in Ontario. The only recourse for workers is collective bargaining as there isn’t a lot of competition to use as leverage for better pay. #SupportEducationWorkers

Asking the people at the bottom to make a sacrifice for the system is not right. There are always more dollars for funding allocated based on priorities.
