Manuel Neuer overcame his calf problems and was able to complete Tuesday's entire training session without any issues. Neuer will start against Curaçao on Sunday [@BILD]
- @FabrizioRomano: 'I can absolutely guarantee that the intention of Florentino Pérez was to try for Michael Olise. It was also confirmed by people at Real Madrid. But Bayern completely closed the door in private and in public and didn't want to enter any sort of negotiations. Then Real Madrid started assessing other options and decided to go for Julian Alvarez'
🚨Regarding Ismael #Saibari, #FCBayern and #PSV: There are talks going on between all parties, according to German sources. No breakthrough yet in the early evening, but there is a clear willingness to reach an agreement together. [@RikElfrink]
🚨⏳ Negotiations between Eintracht Frankfurt and FC Bayern over Nathaniel Brown are very positive.
Markus Krösche and Max Eberl are in regular and good contact. Eintracht are asking for up to €60m, not €65m despite reports. Both parties remain optimistic.
If an agreement is reached in the next few days, the plan is for Brown’s medical to take place during the World Cup. @SkySportDE 🇩🇪
Frankfurt's asking price for Nathaniel Brown is up to €60m, not €65m as reported elsewhere. Negotiations are progressing positively and both parties remain optimistic that an agreement will be reached. If that happens in the next few days, the plan is for Brown’s medical to take place during the World Cup in the US [@Plettigoal]
France have only conceded 4 goals in the last 1050 minutes with Dayot Upamecano on the pitch. They've conceded 18 in the last 816 minutes without him [@Statsdufoot]
As of this evening, there's still no breakthrough in the negotiations between Bayern and PSV over Ismael Saibari. Talks remain ongoing, with the willingness of all parties to reach an agreement [@RikElfrink]
Bayern want to close the deal before Morocco's World Cup opener against Brazil on Sunday. Meanwhile, PSV are not in a rush and want their asking price met. The financial details (base fee, add-ons and payment terms) have yet to be agreed. Everything still points to an agreement [@RikElfrink]
Vincent Kompany spoke to Nathaniel Brown after the end of the season and explained his plans with him. For a long time, Kompany was fully relying on Alphonso Davies and saw no need for a significant reinforcement at left-back. However due to Davies' injuries, the coach changed his mind and decided that strengthening the position became a priority, which made Brown a top transfer target. Despite other inquiries from the likes of Arsenal and Real Madrid, Brown only wants to join Bayern. He wants to stay in Germany and sees playing under Kompany as an opportunity to develop further. As for Alphonso Davies, Bayern would be willing to listen to suitable offers for him this summer. The Canadian earns €15-20m gross per year and his contract runs through 2030. Representatives of Saudi clubs have recently explored the conditions of a potential deal, but things have yet to become concrete [@AgardiJulian, @cfbayern, @jo_wolves]
Bayern have told Hiroki Itō's agents to actively look for a new club for their client. The Spanish league is an attractive destination for Itō. Bayern want around €20m [@AgardiJulian, @cfbayern, @jo_wolves]
🇩🇪 Joshua Kimmich: "I hope that everyone here wants to become world champion. But it won’t get us very far if we only want it. We have to do something now to win games. That’s where we should start"
Herbert Hainer on next season's goals: "At FC Bayern, we always aim to win every possible title. Winning the Champions League is, of course, extremely difficult. We saw again this season how close it was – we deserved to be in the final, too. The first leg against Paris was one of the best games of the past few decades. We only lost two games in this Champions League – against the two finalists. That shows the quality that FC Bayern has and what is possible here." [@BILD]
Herbert Hainer: "I liked how Harry Kane spoke confidently about the Ballon d'Or. Based on his performances and his entire personality, he absolutely deserves it" [@BILD]
🚨❌ EXCL | Rejection in the last hours: Despite Liverpool’s intensive efforts, Hertha BSC gem Kennet Eichhorn will not join the Reds.#LFC
Eichhorn wants to stay in Germany. Leverkusen are pushing hard for a permanent deal as revealed last night. Leipzig remain hopeful.
The 16 y/o has decided against a move to England, even though Liverpool’s offer was the most attractive at first glance - both financially and in terms of the club’s stature. The offer from Liverpool was higher than those of all German clubs competing for Eichhorn. @SkySportDE 🇩🇪
It is understood there was some dissatisfaction over Rio Ngumoha's level of game time under former Liverpool manager Arne Slot. A number of clubs throughout Europe have sensed an opportunity to prize Ngumoha away from Anfield this summer. Bayern Munich are one of those clubs. Liverpool, though, are adamant they will not sell him this summer and Bayern do have other candidates on their shortlist [@SamiMokbel_BBC]
Eintracht Frankfurt are in advanced talks with Noël Aséko, offering him a contract until 2030 with an option for an additional year. Bayern have yet to make a decision over the player's future. In case of a sale, Bayern expect a double digit million fee. Any potential deal is separate from the negotiations for Nathaniel Brown. Frankfurt are not interested in doing swap deals [@BILD_Eintracht]
Bayern are pushing hard to finalize the signing of Nathaniel Brown. Negotiations with Frankfurt are in full swing. Bayern are currently offering just over €50m. Frankfurt are demanding €65m. So there's still a gap to bridge. The fact is, though, that there's not only constructive dialogue, but the negotiations are already significantly more advanced and productive than last year's between Bayern and Stuttgart over Nick Woltemade
At the moment, an agreement seems likely. It remains to be seen whether the Brown transfer will be finalized before Germany's World Cup campaign begins or afterward. If an agreement is reached, the final arrangements would proceed smoothly. Bayern could arrange a medical in the US
