Thank you @RepBrianFitz for meeting with us and for always supporting the MS community. We discussed the importance of CDMRP funding for MS research and the Voice of the Patient Report. Grateful that you continue to listen and advocate for people with MS. #MS#nmss#msactivist https://t.co/iK0mA8oBXf
Great meeting today with the National @mssociety and our own PA-1 constituent advocate, my friend Denise Franklin, whose tireless advocacy has made a real and lasting difference for individuals and families living with MS in our community and across the nation.
Denise and I have been in this fight together for a long time, and I’m grateful to continue working alongside her and the incredible NMSS team to advance the research, innovation, and federal support needed to move us closer to a cure. That means continuing to fight for strong investment through CDMRP and MSRP, supporting progress in biomarker testing and treatment, and making sure the voices of those living with MS continue to be heard in the halls of Congress and beyond.
That same spirit will be on full display here at home on April 26 at our annual MS Walk in Sellersville. Each year, this incredible event brings together families, advocates, and supporters from across our community to raise critical funds, build awareness, and help power the research and support that drive the National MS Society’s mission forward.
As a member of the Congressional Multiple Sclerosis Caucus, I’m proud to continue partnering with Denise and the NMSS team as we keep pushing this fight forward.
Thank you Claire @RepBrianFitz office for discussing the importance of funding critical MS Research and hearing our concerns about deep cuts to Medicaid. #MSActivist
A great morning at the annual @mssociety Walk in Sellersville! Each year, this incredible event helps raise awareness and funds to further NMSS's mission to find a cure. As a member of the Congressional Multiple Sclerosis Caucus, I look forward to continuing working alongside the NMSS and our local MS advocates to advance federal policy solutions to better the lives of those living with and affected by MS. Special thanks to the amazing Denise Franklin, MS Walk Chair, and all who joined us this morning in uniting to march for a cure!
