As part of our ongoing response to the earthquakes in Venezeula, @StateDept finalized a partnership with the Venezuelan American Medical Association, a U.S. charitable organization of Venezuelan physicians living and working in the United States. VAMA is collecting, transporting, and distributing medical supplies for relief efforts following the devastating earthquakes.

The U.S. continues to move quickly for the people of Venezuela. Earlier this week, we loaded life-saving supplies onto the first of four @AmeriJet flights with supplies from our Miami warehouse headed straight to Caracas for distribution by @UNMigration. On board:

• Water filtration units serving up to 4,000 people per day
• Cook sets to help families feed themselves
• Tarps to help rebuild shelter
