Before you panic about Trump’s 50% tariff on Indian exports, take a breath.

This isn’t the time to micro-analyse company-by-company or sector-by-sector. At a 50% duty, virtually no Indian export to the US remains commercially viable. The question isn't about impact, it's about standoff !

Markets will react, as they do. The Nifty & the Rupee may fall 1% or so, but that's just the reaction function, not the final story.

Trump has said that the new tariff will be effective from August 27. That is 20 days from now. I would say it is extremely unlikely that tariffs would stay at this level. This is a negotiation. A hard one, but still a negotiation.

A lot can happen! A geopolitical breakthrough ? Say a Russia-Ukraine ceasefire ? Or India may find a way to give Trump a political win?

Much can happen & much will.

From next financial year no tax for incomes up to 12 lakhs. Many travelers coming in this tax bracket won't bother to file their taxes.

It's always good to file nil returns if you're in that category. Helps much for visa processing even when you file nil returns rather than telling the visa officer that it's not filed, as you don't come under any tax bracket. You can still secure a visa but the nil ITR helps much.
