Today’s District 1 -A softball championship between North Greene and Cloudland will be played at 5pm at Unaka, as scheduled. NG with no losses, Cloudland with one loss. If necessary, game 2 will follow. Come support these girls if you can.

Tryouts for next year’s NGHS team will be Wednesday, May 28th, from 9:00am-11:00, at the NG softball field. Bring a drink. Recent sports physical is required to participate.

Lady Huskies will host State Sectional game verses Greenback this Friday 5/16 at 6pm at NGHS. Winner advances to the Spring Fling state tournament bracket play (as one of final 8 teams in Class A).

The District 1-1A high school softball tournament will be held at North Greene next week (5/5-5/8) - see attached schedule.

Weather forecast looks good for next week, so plan to come out each evening and support these teams. We look forward to seeing you there!!

North Greene HS softball SENIOR NIGHT is MONDAY, so please come out to NGHS and support Jourdanne and Loren as we honor them at 5:40 prior to Cherokee game.

We’ll have BBQ in concession stand at the game. Plan to have a sandwich while you’re there!

Our (Good) Friday home game verses Chuckey-Doak this week will be changed to start at 1pm and will be Varsity only. Great weather forecast, so come to NGHS and see an early afternoon game if you can!!

Lady Huskies play a rare Sunday afternoon game today (4/13) in Tiny Day tourney bracket play in Greeneville. NGHS verses Chuckey-Doak at 2:45 at Hal Henard Road softball fields (near John Deere mfg plant). Winner plays in bracket championship at 4:15. Hope to see you there.

Lady Huskies are in ‘pool play’ action today (Sat. 4/12) in the local Tiny Day tournament. We play at 3:15 verses Morristown West and then again at 5:45 against Daniel Boone. Both games are at Hardins Park lower field.
Bracket play tomorrow afternoon (sched TBD).
