Earlier this year, the 18th Judicial District Attorney's Office presented Det. Brian Lippa with the Outstanding Law Enforcement Investigator Award for his work on a sex assault case at Pirates Cove Water Park in Englewood last summer. The defendant, Trenton Moscovita, ultimately pleaded guilty and was sentenced to more than two decades in prison. You can hear from the police detective below and learn more about this case here:

This week, Trenton Moskovita, 19, was sentenced to 22 years in prison followed by 10 years to life of SOISP (Sex Offender Intensive Supervised Probation) for sexually assaulting a young girl at Pirates Cove Water Park last summer. You can read more about this case here:

Following a 7-day trial, an Arapahoe County jury found Hector Delarosa, 21, guilty of Child Abuse Resulting in Death in the 2024 death of his newborn daughter.
Medical experts determined the 10-day-old infant's injuries could not have resulted from an accident. Delarosa will be sentenced next month.
