We still do not have full account abstraction.

It's not possible to transact from an account without using ECDSA verification unless you go through an intermediary (and intermediary dependency is harmful to privacy and censorship resistance and generally the right to do things without getting permission)

eg. you can't be quantum safe without making your account depend on an intermediary to transact, you can't make a privacy protocol that does not depend on a (vulnerable) public broadcaster ecosystem

There really is a lot of challenging work to be done in getting this right. I just hope we don't get sucked into much higher levels of intermediary dependency as a norm before we do.
