Hey @Lowes this is Will Davis.
He’s an incredible young man. He went above and beyond when helping me today.
I filled out the survey and additionally I wanted to make sure you knew what an extraordinary talent you have at one of your Middle Tennessee locations.
my last convo with nico harrison as gm was media day this year. told me my “why shouldn’t you be fired” question was the “most disrespectful question he’s ever been asked” & had a good back & forth about it.
ended with him saying time will tell if he was right.
time has told
Remember when JR Smith didn’t “know the score” in game 1 of the finals?
Guess who was the assistant coach for that team?
Damon Jones.
Guess what happened later? JR throws a soup bowl at him 🤔💀
From Christina, my wife, and Nathan's mother:
Septembet 23rd, Day one.
Nathan did not suffer. He was here one moment with us eating his favorite breakfast, then he took a nap, and then Josh and I were helping him into the car for his appointment.
I drove the 4 minutes to the hospital, and then I heard him say, "I'm sorry,"
then his face went white in the parking garage, and he was gone. I called for help and they came running. They did an amazing job and revived him for only a couple of minutes. He was still unresponsive and quickly went again, but they kept trying for 45 minutes. I took hand prints and palm imprints of his left hand, the one I held to teach him to walk and a lock of his hair to put in a keepsake box. I'm not sure what happened, nobody knows. There was no treatment for what he had, and so we were given the freedom to try what we wanted. He was stuck in the hospital for 28 days the second time, so all I could do was bring real food to him and make him some tea. His labs started looking so much better, but the disease was too strong, and his gene mutations were just much for anyone to do anything. These are the final pictures with my son. Nathan the Brave, I'm sorry, buddy. I would have taken your place in a heartbeat, and I would have moved mountains for you, boy! I love you and I'll see you later, son.
of course. the past really doesn’t exist. it only exists through memory. you can choose to start saying a different story about your life now, and alter your past (and future). your past and future respond to who you are now in this very moment.
AND SUDDENLY YOU'RE 26-27 SITTING ALONE IN YOUR ROOM, PARENTS ARE OLD, YOUR SIBLINGS ARE MARRIED AND BUSY WITH THEIR OWN FAMILIES AND THERE'S NO ONE YOU CAN TALK TO AND NO ONE CHECKS ON YOU.
WHAT IS IT CALLED — LONELINESS OR FREEDOM. WHATEVER IT IS, IT IS HEAVY.
