I agree with everything you did. My wife and I have been adopting rescued German Shepherds for over 20 years. We have our third GSD now. All came with baggage, issues, etc. I found that it takes 100% unconditional love on your part and be willing to protect them from any threat. Once a dog realizes that they are loved and that you will fight to protect them, you will see a beautiful animal emerge.
You will get a most amazing companion. Gentle, sweet and protective.
@ArthurMacwaters I've researched the numbers of deaths due to communism myself and I think that your numbers aren't accurate. IMO, they are at least 20% to 25% too low.
The number for China should be closer to 80 - 90 million and the USSR should be more like 30 - 40 million.
@ttxger@HarmoniousBIiss@ErikLambert1 💯
Was going to post the same. I've been a Bear fan for my adult life and Lambert has been doing thissincee he stared covering the Bears.
I cook my eggs (all organic and pasture raised) in European style butter (organic cream from grass fed cows).
I don't cook from a cold pan. But I never use a hot pan. When you see second egg white start to instantly bubble up, it means the pan is way too hot.
Cook it from a low-medium heat and increase the heat very gradually (if needed) and you will get perfectly fried, scrambled or over easy eggs every time.
@WallStreetApes I think we need to disable/remove the sim card that is being built in to the electronics of or modern vehicles.
Then start using smaller independent auto repair shops for our vehicles. And stay away from the dealer.
@Bean_Is_Life@goodbreffis My mother cooked with mostly cast iron pans and casseroles. She used dish soap, scrubbed with steel wool and reseasoned with either lard or rendered bacon fat. Her cookware always looked pretty clean. And the food tasted good too.
This was back in the mid 1950's.
I've found alcohol is bad for both good sleep and for losing body fat. Don't get me wrong, I love a fine wine as well as a fine whiskey. But if you are focused on losing body fat, give it a rest.
You need to get your evening water retention down as well as your cortisol down in the evening so you get solid uninterrupted sleep. At least for me, alcohol messes with both.
I have also found that getting in a true state of ketosis and staying there is really important too. After that start working on your fasting. Start off getting to a 16/8 intermittent fast and work up to a randomly scheduled 48 60 hour water & electrolyte fast is great for losing belly fat. I don't know if that works for most people but it works for me.
@SquirrelBitcoin@jakeglmn I've been taking the first 4 ingredients on the posted "cocktail" for a couple of years as individual supplements. Overall less than half the cost.
Stress can and does cause overall systemic inflammation. And it acts in concert with other inflammatory agents (processed seed oil, etc).
I've found that if you clean up your diet/lifestyle issues and actively manage your behaviors that contribute to stress, your overall inflammation (at least what is measured by a HS/CRP blood test) goes to zero.
Ive been on a similar diet for about 5 years now. My gastroenterologist had been pushing significant increases in fiber for my diet. Which I ignored completely.
After my most recent colonoscopy she said that the higher fiber has worked wonders as your gut looks vastly improved. Boy, was she po'd when I told her I have less than 5 grams of carbs per day in my diet and absolutely NO FIBER. But she was honest enough to admit that my diet has been working.
I'm active on several keto & carnivore diet discussion boards. There are hundreds of people with exactly the same experience.
Our french drain is based on creative grading. On our property the yard behind the house is at a higher level than the property immediately next to the foundation for the house which in turn is higher than the front yard and the street (with storm drains).
We had the rear yard graded to create two paths for the water to flow downhill. One for each side of the structure. About 10 feet or so behind the house is a filter grill above a drain opening. That feeds a non-porous pipe to an exit point well in front of the structure. One on each side of the house.
Works like a champ. I have to clear off the filter grills 2 or 3 times a year and it has worked perfectly for over 15 years.
👍
I've been on carnivore for over 2 years solid now. Meat (from ruminants), eggs, cheese.
Few, if any, veggies. No fiber. No serious GI issues. Regular as clockwork.
My gastroenterologist is just amazed at how good my gut looks to her. She asked me what kind of diet I was on and it blew her mind when I told her.
Her final comment on it was something like "I don't agree with the crazy diet you are on, but keep it up".
@paschutz@grok please analyze the image and determine if this is a real picture (vs an AI generated one) and if it is, see if there is any metadata for date/time it was taken, gps location, etc.
I had recurring problems with mold growth in my attic (had to replace my roof twice of roughly 10 years. The first replacement included replacing all the insulation ad putting in the interior soffit vent protectors to keep the newer insulation from blocking them again. My roofer recommended using a ridge vent and my ambient attic humidity dropped from roughly 40% to just below 25%.
What would you use as a better alternative?
Several years before Covid, I was pretty sickly. Flu, colds, various upper respiratory and sinus issues. Lot of other health issues.
Changed diet and lifestyle. No more processed foods, lots of grass fed meat. Extreme carb restrictions. Supplements for immune support. Stopped getting flu shots in 2018 (around the age of 70). Stopped getting sick.
Covid hit and I never got the shot. Never got sick.
Traveled all over the world. Went to places that were hotbeds of Covid (like India and South Africa). Never got sick.
Repeatedly got the Covid antibody blood test. Always negative.
