I spent 3 hours with a billionaire, and we talked about health, investing, and making money work for him.
I spent 3 hours with a middle-class guy. All we discussed was what to buy next, food sports, and celebrity gossip.
There’s a lesson in the conversations you choose.
Sorry to interrupt your scrolling.
Just allow me 2mins to pray with you.
Heavenly Father, as we step into a new season and approach the gates of 2026, we come boldly in the name of Jesus. We lay our lives, our families, our work, and our future into Your hands. Go before us and scatter every plan of darkness. Whatever caused doubt, fear, delay, or discouragement in past years, let Your light swallow it up. Where confusion stood, let clarity rise. Where worry lived, let peace settle.
Your Word says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5). And just as rain comes down and never returns empty, so shall every promise You’ve spoken over us stand fulfilled (Isaiah 55:11). Not one word You’ve spoken concerning our destiny will fall to the ground.
Lord, give us inspired ideas, ideas that bring change, attract kings and queens to support them, and elevate our lives in undeniable ways. Let there be physical evidence of Your hand upon us. May testimonies follow us into this new year.
If anyone reading this carries regrets, scars, or mistakes that weigh the heart, I speak healing. The pain begins to lose its sting, lessons replace shame, and peace fills every gap. Father, transform wounds into wisdom, and make their story a blessing to others.
For marriages, I pray grace. You will marry well and build wisely. You won’t repeat the errors of those before you. Your home will be joyful, peaceful, Christ-centered, and full of laughter. You will prepare, learn, and love deeply, with the Holy Spirit teaching you how to be a great partner. “He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord” (Proverbs 18:22). For those believing for godly partners, let divine connections happen speedily. We will celebrate with you. And when it’s time for children, may grace open that door with ease.
For careers, businesses, and purpose, I decree growth. Life changing opportunities locate you. Doors that were shut will open. Delays are broken. God’s speed rests upon you. Wisdom, knowledge, understanding and strength guide your decisions. May your eyes and feet never lead you into destruction. “The Lord will keep you from all harm and watch over your life” (Psalm 121:7).
You won’t fail where others failed.
If your parents lacked, you will rise.
If your background is small, your future won’t be.
Your hands will not spoil what God gives you.
Your words will not destroy what you’re building.
Where people gather to complain, your story will be different.
Your life will become a reference of what God can do.
Fear is removed.
Healing flows.
Worth is restored.
You won’t need validation to feel valuable, you already are.
Lord, let mercy speak where judgement once stood. If prosperity requires relocation, make provision quick. If flourishing is here in Nigeria, let this land give us a good thing.
For everyone who struggled through 2025 yet survived, you will not just survive 2026, you will flourish. This year will be marked by joy, clarity, testimonies, progress, laughter and divine favor. “For You bless the righteous, O Lord, and surround them with favor as with a shield” (Psalm 5:12).
Let new helpers arise.
Let destiny friendships locate us.
Let prayer lives be revived.
Draw us closer to You, teach us to know You deeply.
Our lives are blessed.
Our homes are blessed.
Our work is blessed.
Our minds are blessed.
Our steps are ordered.
Things will begin to work for you.
Good news will meet you early.
Your story will change for the better.
As we step into 2026, we step in with faith and expectation. We step in with confidence that God is with us, and if God is with us, nothing stands against us.
Amen.
This afternoon, I was on my way home and wanted to book a ride. But then I remembered that I had not preached in the bus for a while, so I decided to use the bus so I could preach the gospel. Preaching in the bus meant I would have to make stops before getting home.
When I entered the first bus, heavy rain began to fall, and I was not with an umbrella. In my heart I prayed, God, I do not want this rain to touch me. I am here because of the gospel. Please keep the rain from me.
The rain kept falling and falling, but the moment it was time for me to get down and enter another bus, the rain stopped. Not a drop touched me. I walked a distance and boarded the next bus where I would share the gospel.
The moment I entered, the rain started again, even louder than before. I had to raise my voice above the sound of the rain just to share the message. And again, in my heart, I prayed, Lord, let this rain not touch me when it is time to come down.
I finished preaching and when it was time for me to get down, the rain ceased again and I was able to get home without being soaked.
God is a good Father. God is intentional. When you put His work first, He honors your requests.
Why is God SILENT when there is Christian genocide in Nigeria?
Silence is not absence. When Stephen was being stoned, heaven wasn’t quiet. Jesus was standing in Acts 7:55-56. When the early church was persecuted, God didn’t disappear. He multiplied them. When Paul suffered, Christ didn’t stop him. He strengthened him.
God’s silence is often our inability to see what He is doing behind the scenes. Evil has always fought the people of God but evil has never won. The blood of the martyrs has always become the seed of revival. What we call silence, God calls justice in motion.
We must pray, advocate, and speak up but never assume God is doing nothing. Scripture says He is near to the brokenhearted and a present help in trouble. Those who shed innocent blood will answer to Him. No throne of wickedness will stand forever.
Christians are being targeted in Nigeria and it must be addressed. But God is not silent. He is watching, He is judging, and He will repay. In the end, justice belongs to Him and He has never lost a battle.
Last night I was awakened at 3 am and shown how some of the biggest things we are anxious about were so small and insignificant compared to how big God is, and what He is doing, that all of our anxieties put together would have a hard time registering as a single thought in heaven. I was then shown that when our anxieties are turned into faith they become such a weight in heaven that they can become the attention of heaven.
BOTTOM LINE: Do not fear. Believe, Do not pray in fear. Pray in faith and our prayers will get the attention of heaven, and carry the weight of heaven.
Lets pray:
Heavenly Father, I’m here again because I know I can’t make it without You.
Some days I feel strong, other days I feel like I’m barely holding it together. But even in the mess, I know You see me. You’ve never left, never abandoned, never failed me.
Today, I’m asking You to show up in ways that silence my doubts.
Not just with little things, but with undeniable proof that You’re in my story.
If doors need to open, open them wide.
If people need to leave, remove them gently.
If strength is what I need, pour it out until I overflow.
I don’t want to just “survive” anymore, Lord.
I want to live fully, walk boldly, and see miracles in real time.
So I’m putting this day, my fears, my future, and everything I can’t control in Your hands.
Stay close, speak loud, and guide me through.
I trust You even when it’s hard, Amen.
