We understand the concerns from those who didn't receive our weather updates before the rains, and we truly appreciate the feedback.
For clarity, the rainfall was highlighted in our weekly forecast issued on Monday, 22nd June, 2026, reiterated in our subsequent updates, and again in this morning's weather bulletin. We know, however, that not everyone sees every post, and we understand how frustrating that can be.
Our thoughts and well wishes are with everyone who has been severely impacted by the floods. We hope those affected remain safe, and we wish a speedy recovery and restoration for all the communities experiencing the effects of the heavy rains.
To make sure you don't miss important weather alerts in the future, please turn on post notifications for our page. That way, you'll receive our forecasts and updates as soon as they're published.
We'll continue working hard to keep you informed and prepared. Stay safe.
In Accra, the early bird doesn’t catch any worm. The system eats the bird & worm up. If you like, leave at 3 am, you’ll still queue for a car, stand in rain, get dirty water splashed on you & be in traffic. These are good scenarios cos you can easily be carried away by floods 👍🏾
