Brutal truth: most people don’t have a resource problem… they have an excuse problem.
My laptop broke in Nov 2025. Easy reason to stop, right?
Instead, I pivoted.
Since December, I’ve been building AI automations with n8n every single week.
Cybersecurity is still the goal…I just refused to stay stuck.
Starting a project series and I ’ll be putting it out here
Today, I want you to:
- google “solar installation company in Los Angeles” or “swimming pool repair in Austin”
- go to page 6,7, 8 or even more of google search results
- you will see websites that are poorly designed.
- copy their link and paste them into https://t.co/NZwApsIy0R. You can download a detailed SEO analysis. Alternatively, use https://t.co/2t5oOZrQXV
- paste the results on grok or ChatGPT and instruct it to give you a website design outline and buildup plan for a modern solar installation or swimming pool business. Tell it to optimize the website for conversion and AI SEO
- copy the output and paste it on claude to generate a responsive html website for you
- you now have a website built specifically for your leads
- check the contact us page of those websites for the email (and if you are lucky WhatsApp number of the owner).
- your has now shifted from “what I will do” to “see a website rebuild optimized for conversion”
- get the cold email course here https://t.co/oW41JdaAR4 if you are struggling with how to write a converting cold pitch

Hello Cyber friends, the application for my next mentorship cohort will start in September. If you’re interested in joining my 2026/27 mentorship cohort, watch this video. You can also share with anyone who is passionate about learning Cybersecurity ✨
If you’re an AI automation Specialist and struggling to land high-paying clients…
It’s not because AI is saturated.
It’s because you have no proof.
Businesses don’t care that you “know automation.”
They care about saved time.
Reduced overhead.
Increased revenue.
Clear results.
Here’s the exact process I’d follow if I had to start my AI automation agency from zero:
1 - Find the right operators
Don’t pitch random founders.
Find businesses already drowning in manual work.
Build a list of 500–1000 ideal prospects (LinkedIn works best).
2 - Remove money from the equation
No proof = no leverage.
Build 1–2 real automation systems for free or low-ticket.
Just enough to prove your workflows actually work.
3 - Document everything
Pick one painful problem.
Show the before → your AI system → measurable result.
Hours saved. Tasks automated. Costs reduced.
4 - Reach out with proof
Send short personalized Loom videos.
Show them the exact automation you built for someone just like them.
Then invite them to a call.
5 - Sell with confidence
Now you’re not selling “AI.”
You’re selling a proven automation system.
6 - Productize your service
Define what you deliver.
Fix the scope.
Set a clear price.
No more custom chaos. Just scalable systems.
This is how AI automation agencies actually grow.
Real World automation challenges in local businesses
- invoice processing pipelines (WhatsApp photo to data extraction to accounting software)
- document expiry alert systems for HR compliance
- lead qualification and follow up flows
- data collection automations replacing manual email/phone workflows
- AI assisted document analysis (tenders, contracts, and reports)
- integration between niche tools that weren’t designed to talk to each other
Niches to target
- renovation companies
- law firms
- accounting firms
- architecture studios
- real estate
- training centers

This cold email sample is for you if you don’t have a portfolio
- social media manager
- copywriter
- graphic designer
The idea is to test if they are truly interested in your services before starting to work on the deliverables.
You don’t need a fiverr or upwork account for this. Your Facebook and Instagram accounts are enough
And when you see this, conduct a life audit
- where do you see yourself in the next five years? What are you doing now? Write it down
- Rate yourself 1-3 in your career, physical, financial and spiritual life. 1 being the lowest and 3 the highest
- Break down your goals into smaller, actionable units. Make them specific, measurable, achievable and relevant. They should have a timeframe too
- choose 3-5 habits to focus on over the next 100 days. They should align with your goals
- Identify those actions that fuel your energy and others that drain it. Keep and do away with them according to their order of relevance
Do this exercise with honesty and intentionality. Review it every 30 days

Today, I want to share how my mentee landed an opportunity to become the Chapter Lead of the very first official APIsec University Chapter in Nigeria through LinkedIn. While searching on LinkedIn for volunteer opportunities and project collaborations, my mentee came across someone in the offensive security space. After reviewing his profile, he reached out with a thoughtful message proposing a potential collaboration on a project.
Although he politely declined due to a busy schedule, my mentee didn’t stop there. He noticed the person was still responsive and followed up, this time asking if he knew of any volunteer opportunities or Cybersecurity communities he could recommend, and if he’d be open to referring him. That follow-up made the difference.
He shared a link to the APIsec website and encouraged my mentee to apply for the Ambassador Program.
Fast forward, my mentee is now the Chapter Lead of the very first official APIsec University Chapter in Nigeria.
“You only miss the shots you don’t take.” LinkedIn is more than a digital resume💪
Congratulations @RootHawk_ 👏👏👏👏
Two days ago, I saw a website content writing gig on Upwork and told myself, “This is a good opportunity to show my guys how to freelance the right way.”
Instead of following the traditional method (sending generic proposals, attaching old samples, and claiming to be the “best SEO content writer” ), I decided to flip the script.
1. I prompted Grok to give me the complete structure and content architecture of a modern solar installation and servicing website, including compact keywords optimized for both Google and AI search visibility.
2. I took that output to Claude and instructed it to generate a fully interactive HTML website. After a few iterations, it came out clean and professional.
3. I then had Claude generate a complete Content Strategy Playbook based on the website and turned it into a sharp presentation using Gamma.
Rather than talking about what I would do, my proposal shifted from generic promises to a live, working demo. I showed the client exactly how the website would look, feel, and perform with complete with visuals, content strategy, and SEO structure.
The client unsurprisingly replied in just five minutes. We jumped on a call, and the conversation was me walking him through the demo website and discussing my fee for the project.
AI is democratizing access to professional-grade deliverables and helping domain experts enter broad niches they previously couldn’t enter, things that used to feel like distant imaginations. The biggest winners of the AI revolution are domain knowledge experts
Attached is the generated interactive website and the content strategy
Dear Nigerian graduates, the Nigerian labour market is not your only option. There are international organizations actively looking for people like you right now and the pay is in dollars.
The UN and its agencies, UNICEF, UNDP, WHO, WFP, UNESCO, IOM and the World Bank recruit regularly and salaries range from $25,000 to $90,000 annually depending on your level.
Where to find and apply:
- UN Careers (https://t.co/yhE1JecxDm). The official portal for all UN job listings globally.
- UN Nigeria (https://t.co/MMmTAEhlrf). Specifically for openings within Nigeria.
- UNjobnet (https://t.co/L9ZQzWLqAL). Lists jobs across the UN, World Bank and other multilateral organizations.
- Impactpool (https://t.co/IpkJ4cQ0yg). One of the best platforms for international organization jobs in Africa.
- Indeed (https://t.co/uFMWVEsADO), search "UN Jobs Nigeria" or "NGO Jobs Nigeria" for current openings.
Your application must have zero errors. Start with your most recent qualification and work backwards. If you have no experience yet, apply for internships first. UNICEF, UNDP and WHO all offer internship programmes for fresh graduates. That experience becomes your foundation for full roles later.
The selection process takes between two weeks and four months so be patient. After your application you may face a written test and then an interview, virtual or in person.
Luck can come from anywhere. But you cannot be lucky in a race you never entered.
Start applying today.
Above all, love God.
We often hear the statement “build publicly” but I think what matters more is the environment and platform you are publicly building on.
On one hand, it means deeply understanding your client, including where they hang out, their typical daily problems, and what keeps them awake at night. Understanding this helps you craft a truly relevant offer.
On the other, platform hacking lets you optimize your presence exactly where they are most active. For example, visual creators and designers who don’t have the bandwidth (or patience) for traditional freelancing platforms often land enterprise clients faster on LinkedIn than Twitter. SaaS developers, especially no-code web builders, tend to attract clients quicker on Twitter/X than LinkedIn.
Given the visual nature and impulse-driven decisions involved in niches like e-commerce, fashion, and beauty, Instagram and Facebook become ideal for freelancers like graphic designers, branding experts, and social media managers.
But what should you post and how?
It depends on what you do. A strong before-and-after case study (carousel or thread) works incredibly well for visually-driven industries like design and branding. “Here’s what the brand looked like → here’s what it looks like now.”
For developers, a technical breakdown of a real challenge and the solution, why you chose a particular stack, what it meant for the business, and the results delivered lands better. Data analysts can grab public datasets from Kaggle, analyze them, and share insights for their audience. Then tie it back to “What was your experience with this dataset? Why SQL over Python here? What does that customer cluster around X metric actually mean for their revenue?”
In all, your content should be framed and designed for business outcomes and client ROI. Clients are desperately scanning for “how does this translate to more profits” anytime they read your post. That means your post should help them make more money or reduce their operating costs. Ask yourself “how does this translate to making money for my client or reduce their operating costs” before you hit that publish button
The most important thing is posting with intentional context on the right platform, for the right audience in the right format. When you align those three, “build in public” stops being generic advice and starts becoming a predictable client pipeline.

Cold emailing challenge for the month of MAy.
Do this before this month ends
1. Go to https://t.co/GkxcaPgyxE
2. Scrape all the startups that were recently funded
3. Look them up on LinkedIn. Alternatively, you can also use google (google AI answer mode is super smart that it can directly give you the name of decision makers). For instance, if abc shows up on finsme website, you can say “who is the founder of ABC” on google
4. Once you look them up on LinkedIn, connect with them. This is where it gets more interesting. We want to connect and also mail them. How then can we get their contacts? Read on
5. Download contactout extension here https://t.co/3d2q6ntoXq and Apollo extension here https://t.co/s9y5EXXTbP
6. Write a highly converting cold email, tailoring it to their business and how your skills improve their business performance
7. Writing good cold emails is hard, particularly for newbies in freelancing and those fresh from bootcamps. I simplify how to write irresistible cold emails here https://t.co/oW41Jdb8GC (50% off for the first ten people)
8. This is a game of numbers. Send more cold emails
