I created a browser extension that walks the DOM, finds image without good alt, sends to LLaVa 7B 1.5 (running in LlamaCPP's server) and injects the rich description back into the alt property. Amazing what a ~5GB (quantised at 5bit) model can do!

@OfficialLoganK Not great for coding unfortunately, I've been trying it today, it was confidently hallucinating Github issue links in comments and overcomplicating things. Might work with a lot of context, but currently it's not great at admitting if it doesn't know a Javascript library enough
Here’s my basic wish list for our government.
Immigration… Stop moaning about asylum seekers and branding them as illegals when all that’s needed is to actually process their applications. Most of them (statistically the huge majority) are legitimate so let them in. It’s called humanity. Easy. Simply get on with the job instead of leaving them to fester for years in hotels at the vulnerable mercy of shit-stirring idiots like Tommy or Fromage.
Secondly, stop helping a pariah state kill kids and civilians in Gaza or Lebanon and calling it self defence, you child-murdering maniacs. Netanyahu is a vicious, unbalanced, agressive nut job. That’s not antisemitism. That’s called evidence-based observation of continuous vengeful, indiscriminate murder for nearly a year. It’s wrong to kill kids… is that so bloody difficult to understand?
Thirdly, stop lazily branding the virtues of compassion and egalitarianism as “woke”. It makes fascists say and do even more stupid, dangerous things.
Fourth, hire more bobbies on the streets and train them to understand the actual law instead of acting on their personal prejudices or assumptions.
Fifth, stop pouring sewage into british waters.
Sixth, stop claiming ludicrous expenses and taking massive bribes as MP’s. Appoint an independent ombudsman to monitor whether MP expenses and personal financial support is reasonable.
Start taxing super rich corporations and close down the loopholes.
Give pensioners their winter fuel allowance.
Stop supporting paedophiles in politics, entertainment and the media by introducing enforceable laws around standards and ethics.
Control the economy by encouraging productivity as well as spending more to stimulate growth. We already know austerity is bullshit. It doesn’t work. Historical and empirical fact…
Put money into health and education.
Stop further privatising our healthcare and start supporting the NHS. It saves lives and is incredible when it works. Train more doctors and nurses and give financial incentives to bring more doctors from other countries.
Start valuing our climate and environment by thinking of sustainability not profit maximisation.
Control and stabilise the economy for everyone, not just the super rich. That means bring down inflation and runaway rents and house prices.
Stop allowing hostile international governments to influence our media, social media and politics with dirty money.
Shut down social media oligarch lunatics poisoning young people’s brains.
Bring back community street parties, youth clubs, community centres, social care, legal aid etc. Empower people. Bring them together.
Start promoting respect for others not hate and bigotry.
That.
Today we release our first foundation model. OCRonos-Vintage is a 124 million parameters model pretrained end-to-end by @pleiasfr on 18 billion tokens of cultural heritage archives, with nearly SOTA results for OCR correction in English https://t.co/1ye5VEGerd
I was wondering where will all the rioters go with the prisons already full and what @UKLabour should do is just grant asylum to everyone and put the thugs in the same "hotels"! There you go mate, got your hotels back...
Two young lads decided to throw 2 bricks through Hays Travel Sunderland today. Why? Seriously why? We’re a Sunderland based business who do huge amounts for the local community, dedicate nearly £1m a year to charities across the UK, we’re taking on more than 500 apprentices. Why?
@sinnet3000 More and more things point that this is caused by an unexplainable sloppy Crowdstrike deploy.
Just in these 2 replies: 350K Windows machines down!!! From two companies who are Crowdstrike customers.
This outage will surely have a global GDP impact. Nuts

“Eight men own half the world”.
“When Oxfam started publishing it was 62 men. Do we think the system really is broken when only one man owns half the world?”
“Is that when we think: ‘OK, we now have to stop’?”
