As I said earlier, this current board has everyone guessing, including the top journalists. The truth is, they have no clue what’s actually happening behind the scenes.
This morning, Fabrizio Romano said that Tchouaméni’s wages would be a stumbling block for any move to Manchester United.
On the other hand, Ben Jacobs is also reporting that wages will not be an issue for Manchester United and that personal terms would not be a problem at all.
That alone shows how the current board operates. Everyone is speculating, but only few people know what’s happening behind closed doors. The club is keeping its business private, and that’s why so many reports continue to contradict each other.
I’m a patient man. 🤣
@pstudeba8@AlhajiSUGAH It's NCIS S22E3 "The Trouble with Hal" (2024). The team investigates a surprise Halloween party at a Navy lieutenant's house—only the guest of honor "Hal" was actually a squatter found bludgeoned in the basement. Classic NCIS case with costumes and chaos.
I could have sworn most Manchester United fans were saying the £85m valuation for Mateus Fernandes was too much and that the club should walk away.
Now that Spurs are reportedly closing in on an agreement with the player, there’s suddenly panic from the fanbase.
If he wasn’t worth the fee a few days ago, why the concern now? You need to pick a struggle.
Elliot Anderson was deemed “too expensive” by you this same fans.
Crysencio Summerville is also being questioned for the same reason and because West Ham relegated but now PSG and other top clubs are showing interest.
The reality is that young players, especially Premier League-proven talent costs a lot. You can’t demand elite players/potential and then expect bargain prices.
Is the player good enough to improve Manchester United? If he is, stop obsessing over the fee. If he isn’t, stop panicking when another club signs him.
You want top talent, you want it at a discount price. That’s not how the market works. You need to pay up or move on.
