The metabolism involved in doing a barbell squat is crazy. You may do hundreds of upper body exercises and not sweat, but once you do 1 or 2 sets of barbell squat, you feel the intensity and start feeling hot 😂
I used the Rotary hip machine for the first time yesterday and I can tell you I’m in love with it already.
Will ensure I use it frequently to aid more hip mobility and strength.
So whenever you are thinking of how to keep fit and you find gym exercises like the treadmill or weights boring or demanding, active recreation can be a very good substitute.
Other examples are badminton, netball, handball, taking a long walk etc. #Fitness#Motivation
One of the best ways to be keep fit and be consistent is by engaging in “active recreation”
Active recreation such as playing football, tennis, swimming etc will have you burning tons of calories without even knowing. The fun and enjoyment when participating is an addition.
One day I was doing a medical check up the doctor was like
“Do you take any creatine or pre-workout?”
and I said
“Nah,it’s just Banana, dates and water before workout and a proper meal after workout” 😁🦾
