In case if people don’t know, the Solidarity Spot can only be given to a nation that has qualified for ZERO or ONE ENC 2026 titles.
Therefore, a nation like Spain can’t be invited through the Wildcard system as they are already confirmed in LOL and Rocket League, among others.
The Rainbow 6 Siege qualifiers have come to an end, and we now know which teams have secured their place in the main event.
Congratulations, and see you in November at ENC26!

Weibo Gaming making a change makes sense. It's not like they have been getting bad results... but in SLC it felt like the team was missing something.

España no opta a ninguno.
@Luxpla I don't think there's any nation that could escape this.
It's just about about a coach or a player who had represented their nation alongside X or Y... then recommend them in the next transfer window because "he was great during ENC" or "team chemistry in ENC" etc.
🇧🇷 Brazil's national coach @igoorctg shared a 27-page document in Portuguese talking about the call-up process the country had carried out to choose the list's seven names.
Here's how the process went:
1 - On March 30, Team Liquid Alienware's igoorctg and FaZe Clan's @rafadell_fps are chosen as "coach" and "support coach", respectively.
The idea behind this combination of coaches, who worked alongside the team's manager @eudinho_f, was to put together different points of view. This is crucial to consider as many angles as possible.
2 - After naming the two coaches, a 27-player list (picture attached) was made. The roles both coaches had in mind were SUPPORT 1, SUPPORT 2, FLEX, ENTRY 1, AND ENTRY 2.
3 - The third step was to reduce the 27-player list; however, results during Kickoff were taken with a pinch of salt. In fact, the reduction process was stopped during Kickoff as many players had switched teams or even in-game roles; meaning some would struggle to display their real potential.
Nevertheless, Kickoff was still seen as a good opportunity to see those players' adaptations to newer team systems in a real tournament environment with international spots at stake.
Following Kickoff, the list was finally reduced, going from 27 to 15 names. The main aspects considered where: recent performances, competitive history, current role, adaptation skills, compatibility with different playstyles, experience in high-caliber tournaments, group profile, communication, proffessional maturity and fitting potential inside the Brazilian National Team.
4 - Following the first reduction, the Brazilian National Team carried out 14 individual interviews as they understood it's more than just competitive skills; it's also about commitment, availability, maturity, relationships with other players, and a good understanding of the weigh of the opportunity; what means to play for a country.
The document also includes a look at the backbone of the interview, including the following questions:
- As a player, do you face the possibility of experiencing a salary reduction from your team while representing the national team?
- Do you have any problems with other players in the scene?
- Will you be available for the trainings with the national team?
- Why would you like to be a part of the Brazilian national team of Rainbow Six Siege?
- Make your ideal Brazilian national team. All 14 answers included @handy_R6, @cyberzeraR6, and @VITAKINGR6, which reinforced their status in the selection process.
- What should the main characteristics of a group be, inside and outside of the server?
Following the interviews, some players improved their chances of making the final team. Others had their chances drastically reduced due to availability issues, competitive moment, and other factors.
By then, the list was reduced from 15 to 10 names.
5 - The next step was choosing the team's IGL, which, by then, was practically already chosen.
"The presence of the IGL in this stage was very important to validate the building of a group from an in-game perspective, leadership and tactical functioning."
"Listening to the IGL helped the committee to have a better understanding of the ideal composition, not just individually, but also considering collective balance, communication, game lecture, and synergy between roles."
6 - The final meeting saw the list being reduced to the final 7 names, including VITAKING, Cyber, Handy, @Paluh_R6, @kheyzefps, @LoiraR6 and @Jv92R6.
Four other names are mentioned on the document as honorable mentions, including @Volpz_R6, @DiasLucasR6, @soulz05 and @Maia_R6.
Here are the reasons why each player was chosen to represent Brazil at the Esports Nations Cup 2026:
@VITAKINGR6 - FaZe Clan (SUP 1 and IGL)
"Two-time Six Invitational champion, seen as the most consistent captain and leader in recent years. His selection is explained by the combination of experience, leadership, lecture of the game, and capacity of leading a team in high-pressure moments. Furthermore, he was one of the three names that was mentioned in all ideal Brazilian teams."
@Paluh_R6 - Fluxo W7M (SUP 2)
"One of the most consistent players in recent years in Rainbow Six Siege. Added to his high tactical level, he's known as a player who brings a good team environment and has plenty of competitive experience. His adaptability was another important factor; he's seen as a safe piece for a short tournament, with very little room for mistakes."
@handy_R6 - FaZe Clan (FLEX)
"Seen nowadays as one of the best players in the world, he's a high-impact athlete in Rainbow Six Siege. His presence was unanimous among all of the interviewed candidates, appearing in all answers."
@kheyzefps - Team Liquid Alienware (ENTRY)
"Another unanimous name among all of the interviewed candidates. Recognized for possessing one of the best aims in Rainbow Six Siege, he gathers impact power, he's consistent, and has the skill of deciding rounds in high-pressure situations."
@cyberzeraR6 - FaZe Clan (ENTRY)
"Chosen due to his competitive profile being exceptionally strong. He's a player who doesn't feel the pressure and who tends to grow in front of his responsabilities. In addition to being unpredictable to his opponents, he has a lot of experience in high-caliber tournaments and shows calm in decisive moments."
@Jv92R6 - Team Liquid Alienware (FLEX)
"Despite starting the season below expectations, he has been considered as one of the most consistent and best players in the world in the last two years. His capacity of acting in the most difficult situations in all Rainbow Six Siege maps was one of the most relevant aspects behind his selection."
@LoiraR6 - FURIA (FLEX)
"Chosen due to his capacity of finding spaces inside the game, good communication and versatility. His main characteristic is adapting to different roles and tactical needs, something that's very important in a national team where there's not much adaptation time."
