Dabane is a lead NGO in water security through Sand Abstraction. In short, sand abstraction is the process of drawing water from sand rivers.
Dabane constructs Sand Dams from these sand rivers, then uses a Rowa pump to draw water from the sand dams.
Red Card to Child Labour
Every child deserves the chance to learn, play, and grow in safety. Child labour robs children of education, health, and their future.

“The team that shows up”
At the heart of Dabane’s mission are the dedicated team members who show up every day, carrying the vision of resilience and hope into rural communities. Today, we celebrate these committed cadres who ensure that Dabane continues to stand strong.
From 7th to 9th April 2026, we had the honour of hosting one of our valued donors, ASW, for an office visit. As part of the program, farmers and field monitors from Matobo joined us to share firsthand experiences and provide our guests with a primary overview of the ongoing work.
