Citizen of two broken countries. Doctor Who fan, Duke basketball fan, and accountant currently at the BFI. Should exercise more but too much TV to watch. :-)
Lovely event this weekend in London. Join Michael Palin, John Cleese, Carol Cleveland, Robert Ross and Terry’s daughter Sally Jones at the BFI. Get tickets for Terry Jones: The Renaissance Man | BFI Southbank this Saturday at 3pm https://t.co/5wuiZRtGV6
@NoelClarke It’s acting up at the moment but I will add you. I only know a few other people using it now but will ask them to add as well, if that’s ok.
Avoid using @justeatuk . Their driver failed to make a delivery and blamed me. I answered every call and even went outside to look for them. I tried calling back. Driver left food somewhere else even though my flat is very findable. Refund has been flatly refused. I'm livid.
@BarnabyEdwards I am reading all in publication order. On a slower timeline as I am relying on finding in charity shops so am missing quite a few. I try to approach them as if I were reading them at the time with no knowledge of future books. Really enjoyed the first Marple that way.
@Jo_Haseltine I have far too much fun walking directly at them and then making sure I make direct eye contact when (if) they finally look up. Essentially playing phone zombie chicken.
Fantastic day at @bfi#filmonfilm Festival yesterday. Two nitrate screenings: Service For Ladies (a comic delight) and No Way Out. Throw in some Doctor Who and a gorgeous print of Jaws. Everyone involved should be very proud.
@Se_Railway Found a phone on a seat of first carriage of 12:33 train out of West Wickham. Will turn it in at London Bridge where I get off. Just in case someone asks about it.
@duolingo I’m done. I asked to go back to previous version but no answer. Complete lack of usable guidance in new version means I am not learning anything, just confused.
