The last missing piece for our first game (remember, we plan to introduce more games into the Dabble app) was transitioning to the in-app purchase (IAP) subscription model. You can now download and play Dabble for free, and as your game improves, you’ll be guided to choose a subscription plan that suits your skill level—which means you won’t pay for something you don’t need. If only that were true for all our purchases!

After playing at the basic level for a short time, most players will likely choose the Starter plan while learning the game’s nuances. As you gain more skills (and develop strategies), you’ll naturally be able to submit more words and will be guided to one of the other two subscription plans—Plus or Inclusive—that increase the game’s word limit.

The Inclusive plan comes with the additional benefit of family sharing. So, if you want to play with family (a euphemism for being schooled by your wordsmith grandma), the Inclusive plan is the best choice right from the start.

Enjoy fun sound effects and background music, available in two audio themes (found in Settings): The “Playful” theme keeps you in the groove, while the “Introspective” theme is perfect for those cozy evenings by the fireplace.
