In my 4 years at Tulane, NO Team was the same as the year prior. Despite the players returning, despite the coaches returning, despite it all, each team was different. This year’s team is nothing like last year’s team because it ISN’T last years team. Tyjae isn’t carrying the ball. Makhi is doing phenomenal. Shae & Duece aren’t at WR. Quan, Keyes, and Brazzel are a dynamic trio. The 1-2 punch isn’t there anymore, but JESUS, SMALLS, and GRUBBS are BALLERS. This team is 9-1! Do you know how hard it is to win 6 games? Let alone 9! The last few games have been close, but you’re crazy to think that those guys aren’t doing their best each and every Saturday. The one thing that is the same and that I hope and pray will never change is ‘1-0’. That mantra is the only consistent thing that never needs to ever change for the rest of this program’s existence because that is all that matters & as long as that keeps occurring, everything will handle itself. I’m happy to see everyone rooting for domination on the scoreboard. The energy and enthusiasm is amazing to see! I love it, but if you think being undefeated in conference play and winning 9 games in FBS level college football isn’t domination…. You need to reevaluate the sport. Proud of the guys! Another win! Another proud moment in Uptown! Stay focused! Ignore the noise! Never get complacent! & Keep going 1-0. #RollWave 🌊
