@Hania16836 Bullshit! I’ve been in the industry for 40 years and this is completely incorrect. Servers in my latest establishment make $15-$17 per hour. Tips should be based on quality of service and dining experience and nothing else! I tend to over-tip, but always based on service received

Yes dear, it IS your job to serve me and you receive a paycheck for doing so. Tipping is to show gratitude for good, great, excellent and exceptional service. And the amount is based on your performance and is my choice as your customer.
