Books are like cuisine - you can like or dislike a certain sort of food, which doesn't make it good or bad. But, just like food, a book can also be made poorly. And also like food, you can still enjoy something terribly flawed - like a lumpy half-done cake that is delicious.🥮😋

@QEisenacher I’m not published, but my first book took me the better part of 5 years to write. Then I took a break to let it rest a bit and when I tried diving into the 2nd book, I couldn’t believe how much I’d changed (and concurrently my writing style). I floundered big time.

@StolenStitches My grandma taught me to crochet when I was little. About 5 years ago we had a huge snow storm and I was stuck inside for a week. I’d had some knitting needles in a box and decided to learn. YouTube and continental style knitting and I was absolutely hooked! I’ve taught 5 others.

I am utterly convinced that God will have all kinds of grace if we got the theology wrong. I’m not entirely sure about how God will take it if we got the loving other people, seeking justice, and choosing mercy part of life wrong.
