The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing 78-year-old woman. Ruth Jenkins was last seen on July 16th, 2022, at approximately 2 pm. She was last seen walking in the 1800 block of Highway 45 in the Pineville, SC area of Berkeley County. Jenkins does have dementia and is known to wander. She was last seen wearing a gray shirt, jeans, and black glasses. Her family is concerned for her safety and well-being. From Liam’s mom Jeanette: “Today we did not get the news we wanted. The MRI and symptoms show that his tumor is rapidly growing. It has now overtaken both sides of the pons. The current treatment is not working and he is not eligible for any additional treatment. Our sweet boy is being transitioned into the care of the Hummingbird team to receive comfort care at home. We will hopefully be going home tomorrow to enjoy whatever time we have left with our sweet boy. My heart is shattered. I feel like I can't breathe. This terrible nightmare keeps getting worse and worse.
Please have patience with us why we try to navigate our feelings.
