For more than 50 years, a group of timekeepers has been quietly sneaking extra seconds onto the world's clocks. Now they've voted to stop, and the moon is getting its own clock.

THE MOMENT EMIR OF KATSINA TOOK @officialABAT tinubu AND HIS CAMPAIGN TEAM TO THE WASHERS
“My palace is not a polling centre to visit every 4years when pressed during election only to vanish till another election cycle.
In my emirate alone, fifty-two schools closed because of bandits. Same number in Doka. Farmers cannot go to farm in 12 local government areas of Katsina. People pay up to ten to twenty million naira to Bello Turji and his boys.
And you come talking about DG campaign for Tinubu 2027. Should you not be talking about DG security for Katsina 2026? Where is Bello Turji? You promised to handle security. Bello Turji is in the forest, a hundred kilometres from here. Go and bring him, then come and campaign.
If you are selfish, my people will be selfish with their votes. If you do politics of selfishness only for your family, for your cronies, for your friends, and for your contacts, then people will also do politics of selfishness. They will collect your rice and vote against you. They will collect five thousand and still vote for who they want.
In 2023, you brought rice, you brought money, but Katsina people still split their votes. In 2027, if you bring the same selfish politics, they will collect your money but will not vote for you. And I assure you that.”
It’s genuinely refreshing to hear someone speak the unvarnished truth instead of peddling a carefully manufactured load of bullshit designed to deceive, manipulate, and brainwash the masses.....
If PETER OBI ever attempts to go against the status quo in Nigeria, or against the west, this is how it will play out as it has played out exactly with other African leaders who dared to challenge them.
Week one: Congratulations from Washington, London, Brussels, Paris, Beijing, and the AU. Warm statements. Talk of partnership.
Month two: IMF technical team arrives for “consultations.” World Bank signals readiness to discuss debt restructuring. The British Foreign Office announces a new bilateral trade engagement program. French commercial delegations request early access meetings.
Month four: First conditions surface publicly. Subsidy framework review. Exchange rate liberalization. Trade policy alignment with multilateral frameworks. None of it is called conditions. It is called “technical recommendations from development partners.” The language is soft. The intent is structural submission.
Month eight: First media destabilization pieces land. Reuters runs “Can Obi Deliver?”
Bloomberg raises “governance uncertainty.” The ethnic tension framing begins circulating in Nigerian legacy media funded by the old order. The permission structure for domestic opposition is being quietly constructed. International cooling begins.
Month fourteen: Domestic opposition, now emboldened by that international cooling and the manufactured uncertainty, begins aggressive National Assembly obstruction. Budgets are stalled.
Key ministerial appointments are rejected on procedural technicalities. The destabilization has moved from narrative to institutional. Governance theater is in full production.
Month eighteen: Security crisis escalates on at least one front, Northwest bandits, Southeast tensions, or a coordinated Abuja-proximate incident.
The crisis is not random. It is the security weapon deployed on schedule. International media amplifies every casualty. “Investor confidence” language returns from the same financial press that celebrated him in week one.
Month twenty-four: The choice point. Submit to the architecture, or face the full weight of coordinated destabilization.
Nigerians have to prepare for when all this starts happening because it will happen and when it does, only the people united against a common enemy can build.
Christopher Bollyn is “The Man Who Solved 9/11.” He identified those behind the attacks long before others, which is why most people have never heard of him. Solving a crime like that doesn’t bring medals or interviews—The full story is on https://t.co/wEryqeC1WA.
David Hundeyin: Somalia Is A Sabotaged African State, Not A Failed State
The Spearhead’s founder, David Hundeyin (@davidhundeyin), argues that no failed states exist in Africa because any that appear to have failed were actually destroyed by the West.
