BREAKING: SCORCHED EARTH! Senator Sheldon Whitehouse unloads on Todd Blanche as the "most discreditable person ever" to seek the Attorney General's office in a scathing takedown.

Every single word of this rant was a hammer blow...

"Today I think is a sad and embarrassing day for this committee. As it looks like on a party line vote, we are going to advance out of this committee probably the most discreditable person ever to seek the office of Attorney General of the United States," Whitehouse said during a hearing of the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

"The reasons to vote against him number in the hundreds, but let's just focus on a few where my Republican colleagues purport to have great concern..." he continued.

"Let's start with the Epstein files where Todd Blanche participated in the cover-up, continues to participate in the cover-up, and is responsible for a massive screw-up of the release of the documents. Cover-up and screw-up on the Epstein files!"

"What do I mean by cover-up? Well, first, they looked at four FBI 302s that were the testimony of a woman who told the FBI in a formal statement that she had been sexually assaulted and physically assaulted by Donald Trump around 13 or 14 years of age."

"Of those four 302s, they released one, the one that did not mention Donald Trump. Well, fortunately for transparency, these documents had been released in other areas and bait-stamped, so people figured out that some were missing. And with that, the other 302s that mentioned Donald Trump had to be produced."

"Only because they got caught were those 302s produced, and right now, as we sit here, Todd Blanche is still sitting on 37 pages that are almost certainly the agent's notes off of which the 302s were taken. That should be disclosed under the Epstein files law, but instead, those 37 pages remain covered up."

Blanche's ongoing efforts to hide the truth about Epstein and Trump from the American public should not only disqualify him from leading the Justice Department, it should open him up to investigation and prosecution.

This man has no loyalty to his country or the concept of justice. He's Trump's personal lapdog and he believes in nothing beyond serving his master's interests. If he's confirmed as Attorney General, he will happily turn a blind eye to the President's worsening crime wave and use the vast powers of his office to invent manufactured cases against Trump's perceived enemies.

With this Blanche confirmation process, we are witnessing nothing less than the death of the rule of law in the United States of America.

Whitehouse was unfortunately correct, and the Republican-controlled committee ultimately voted to advance Blanche's nomination along a 12-10 party line.

But that doesn't mean we just give up. It means we need to spread Whitehouse's words far and wide, and amplify the voice of every single Democrat currently sounding the alarm about Blanche. The final vote has not yet occurred and we must make it clear to Republicans that anyone who votes to confirm this man will be held accountable at the ballot box.

BREAKING: Bari Weiss's CBS News gets caught sweeping a MAJOR Jeffrey Epstein story under the rug, proving once and for all that the brand is now full-blown MAGA.

This is absolutely inexcusable...

"Bari Weiss now an intricate part of the Epstein cover up," Ryan Grim of Drop Site News wrote on X.

He was reacting to a bombshell story in Bloomberg which revealed that Deutsche Bank AG "failed to promptly report to US authorities" over $250 million in "suspicious transactions tied to Jeffrey Epstein." Some of those funds were used to pay women in Russia and Eastern European countries, a major red flag for sex trafficking investigators.

The stunning news was disclosed by Senator Ron Wyden in a new report entitled "Looking the Other Way: How Wall Street Banks Enabled Jeffrey Epstein’s Sex Trafficking.”

The report also details how Bank of America Corp. reported "$170 million in Epstein-related transactions connected to billionaire Leon Black," but only did so five to seven years after the transactions took place. In other words, after the parties involved had ample time to cover their tracks.

In a sane country, Wyden's efforts to uncover the truth over the course of several years would have been bipartisan. But since Republicans control Congress and their party leader is deeply implicated in the Epstein files, Wyden was limited in his ability to obtain documents and interview witnesses. In the report, he criticized Republicans for their blatant obstructionism.

But it's one particular detail in Wyden's report that's drawing attention to Weiss. The senator stated that he was interviewed back in March by then-60 Minutes correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi for a segment on the connection between Wall Street banks, the government of the U.S. Virgins Islands, and Epstein.

Alfonsi was later fired for criticizing CBS News' leadership, specifically editor-in-chief Weiss, regarding a different segment.

The Epstein story never aired.

So what are we to make of this beyond the obvious, which is that Weiss has completely destroy CBS's credibility and integrity?

There are a few explanations at play. Weiss was installed by Trump ally Larry Ellison to steer the network's coverage in a more MAGA-friendly direction. She has enthusiastically done just that. Suppressing Epstein stories keeps the scandal out of the news, which helps Trump since he was clearly buried to the hilt in the late pedophile's predations. It's also worth noting that Weiss’s wife Nellie Bowles appears in the Epstein files.

The second explanation involves a more macro-analysis. Outside of shielding just Trump, Weiss is committed to upholding the status quo more broadly. She has failed upward in this world despite her lack of morals or discernible intellect by flattering the prejudices of powerful oligarchs. Exposing the big banks for being involved with — or at the very least turning a blind eye to — Epstein's sex trafficking empire would mean implicating the epicenter of American capitalist power. Once journalists start pulling threads on the banks, everything could come unraveled. These are institutions that launder money for drug cartels and shuttle money back and forth for the same intelligence agencies that Epstein was clearly in bed with. Dig into him, and all the rot comes spilling into the open.

BREAKING: Trump STUNS reporters with chilling Oval Office promise to give Iran “Every last chance before decapitation”!

Donald Trump shocked reporters Monday with an insane, muddled rant about how he is weighing military action against Iran but wants to give the country "every last chance before decapitation" before a devastating attack he says is already cued up and ready to go.

In a long history of spewing crazy from the Resolute Desk, this one is right up there.

Spurred by a question about future negotiations, Trump’s answer sounded less like a serious discussion of the current situation and more like a bad action movie plot he made up on the spot.

“I want to give them every last chance before decapitation,” Trump said.

He then claimed the United States was ready to launch a massive attack the night before that would have left “essentially very little left… nothing left.”

According to Trump, the only reason the assault didn’t happen was because “sleazebag” leakers tipped Iran off, prompting Iranian leaders to call him in a panic and beg for another chance to negotiate.

“They knew I was coming… So they called me, and they said, ‘Please don’t attack. We’ll make a deal.’ That’s the real truth, and everyone knows it.”

The real truth indeed. But Trump had hardly taken a breath before he denounced the said leakers as people who “should be put in jail” – then immediately praised them for supposedly saving Iran from total destruction.

This, of course, is pure fantasy. Trump is cornered, out of good options, and reaching into his familiar bag of rhetorical tricks: invent a story in which he was about to deliver overwhelming force, claim the other side was terrified into submission, and present himself as both the ultimate tough guy and the reluctant peace-loving dealmaker.

Sane leaders always speak carefully about the possibility of war. Trump, on the other hand, chose the language of “decapitation” and total annihilation while spinning a tale that conveniently makes him look both merciful and all-powerful.

This is in no way strategic. This is Donald Trump madly improvising because he’s trapped, and throwing around the idea of war crimes as threats.
