@philthrobnut@BallKnower1867 So did he punch this hole with the hand that already had a broken finger? If so based on his last few weeks of throwing seems it has healed up nicely after what would have certainly been a significant set back to inital injury.
@xRyanTaylor@Jeffery_Cobb 21, folks. That young man was fired by text at 21. A suspension and chance to prove his maturity evolution would have been nice to see. Could have been amazing or could have then pulled the plug quickly if lessons were not learned. We will never know.
@jmperetin13@Fantavious9 Good thing none of us were ever 21 and in need of mentors. I am a fan of these players, all of them. They are still young men learning how to navigate adulthood.
@mountaineerjdub@wvufan2023 Knowing what you keep implying you know - it warranted an immediate team removal not any type of suspension or lower disciplinary action. Straight to text removal was warranted? That is never going to sit right with me unless this was an imminent danger situation for someone.
@mountaineerjdub Well if you have some insight that justifies what looked like a complete overreaction by a coach - would love to hear it, especially the part that said a text was appropriate.
@PensFan125@Randy_Oxley@WVUBaseball I know a coach texted a player to remove him from a team versus meeting face to face. Not one person disputes that.
@gumbywvu@brocgrosser1@d1baseball@NettingPros Coach cannot revel in a kid’s wild man persona and then use it against him . Was he given a suspension, or did we go straight to kicking him off (by text) because it feels like some steps were missed along the way that just changes that athlete’s life.
@brocgrosser1@gumbywvu@d1baseball@NettingPros Meyer is a bigger loss than anyone is ready to admit yet. Did we recruit in good talent, sure. Did we also lose a leader with the intensity that the bull pen needs…beyond a doubt.
