Mick Foley reunited with Emi Sakura!
“It was the first time we had seen each other in 30 years - back in my days with IWA Japan. Apparently, I made a good impression on her!”
WWE NXT star Tavion Heights has praised his recent excursion to Pro Wrestling NOAH and how it elevated his game:
"Leaps and bounds. Leaps and bounds. I can say solely just from a language viewpoint, communication there is difficult. You literally go from speaking English, a common vernacular, to having to speak wrestling with someone.
"That elevated my game so much, because these guys are professionals, these athletes over there are pros, they know exactly what they're doing. Me coming over as an NXT wrestler, I had to stand out, I had to do my thing.
"Man, the levels of growth was, I can't even tell you. We're speaking a language, and wrestling is a language. When someone does something, you know how to move, you know how to react, I learned this from amateur wrestling as well, there's a flow state you go into when you're wrestling, it's like a literal dance if you will.
"I got a chance to perfect my dance, I got the chance to work on my toe tap, so it was beautiful to see.
"It opened my mind to different move sets, different ways to move around the ring, to think about how to use a ring, because in Japan they use the ring entirely differently, and now I can bring that back and mesh it with my style and make something unique from it, so it was a beautiful growing moment."
