@ASmith03615702@washingtonpost The Washington Post reported that the prosecutor said something NOT that it is necessarily true. It is good reporting to quote people involved in an investigation as long as you don't pass judgement on what they said.
@cnc_TRIGGER@dj1au@gtconway3d Just because they couldn't find enough evidence to prove you committed a crime doesn't mean you didn't do it, i.e. are innocent.
@whenry_green @sutterjosh82 @realDonaldTrFan Here in the South there are a lot of people who do know better but go along with the whole MAGA thing for fear of being ostracized by family, community and church. Their critical thinking is working just fine but following it is just too costly.
@realDonaldTrFan If you turn your phone sideways (landscape) and look at the top where it says "Donald J. Trump...." at the end of the dots you'll find the word "parody".
@BBCBreaking This woman is already 38, so if she lives serving 34 years she will be 72. Few people last that long in prison. Even if she does it's unlikely she will make parole. She will be doing life, rest assured.
@MomWitch8@PalmerReport@PJShakesitup You're right, but his abuse of government documents is so dangerous and such an open and shut case that it's a better way to take him down. Trump is such an avalanche of criminality that you have to pick your battles.
@CoachChris2016@POTUS Sounds like you just need to become a moderate Democrat and get a good union job. Once you stop supporting Trumpian coups and plans to end American democracy you will no longer be considered a threat. Come join us on the side of light, we'll be glad to have you.
@dasnodak@surecantpickem@DanRather She wasn't talking about a real 2nd opinion. She was talking about going from one doctor to another untill she found one who agreed with her dogma despite what the leading authorities say.
@TheProblem @AppleTVPlus Jonathan Swift once said "you can't reason a man out of an opinion he did not reason himself into to begin with." The Republicans don't want Truth to guide their decisions, they see their dogma as their only guide. And they want to force that dogma on the rest of us.
@mirovinna1 @BBCBreaking You refuse to waste more money on this project? Just how many billions have you put into it so far? Just who is this "we" that is "done with this"? Certainly not me. I support Ukraine's fight for freedom.
@Jerdog8@OccupyDemocrats I share your doubts, but he is no longer president, the evidence is overwhelming, and the crime so serious that I think we might get him. The DOJ wouldn't take such a drastic step as raiding his home if they didn't have a pretty good case against him.
@HTMacon@washingtonpost A very enlightened suggestion. I think it would be great if the whole country took a mindful breath. Then turned their energy towards helping the poor, sick, and disabled -- you know, like Jesus did.
@slplibby35@GuardianUS She had some THC for personal use. Big deal. She should have to pay a fine and maybe be expelled from the country and baned from visiting again, but 9 years in prison is ridiculous.
@Hollywood71109@oliverdarcy By the time he said that the damage had been done. You can't destroy people's lives then say "oops, my bad" & that makes it all better.
@Quinny_W@oliverdarcy He has done immeasurable damage to the parents and emboldened his followers to harass them while they were working through the grief of having their children murdered. Just saying "Oh my bad" is not enough. We need to send a message to him and the next guy there are consequences.
@Chibirob31@JoJoFromJerz Rob in case you haven't noticed a lot has changed in the last 150 years. Modern Democrats passed the 1965 voting rights bill and other civil rights legislation against Republican opposition.
