At 11 a.m. this morning, Thai armed forces, accompanied by heavy machinery such as excavators, entered An Ses area and other locations within Cambodian sovereign territory, and even laid barbed wire, despite strong objections from our forces. It is also worth noting that Cambodia recently arranged a visit by foreign military attachés to those locations on July 30, 2025, clearly demonstrating that these areas are part of Cambodian sovereign territory.
This act constitutes a flagrant violation of the ceasefire and poses a grave threat to peace and security along the border between the two countries, as well as to the wider region. Cambodia calls on the international community — particularly partner countries that have worked tirelessly to help achieve this hard-won ceasefire and wish to see it fully and effectively implemented — to demand that Thailand immediately stop its aggressive actions and strictly respect international law, especially Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
No medals. No glory.
Yet, they carried the weight of a nation.
We owe our peace to their silence.
Let their names live longer than the noise of war.

Spokesman: As of 11:00 a.m. on August 1, 2025, the Thai side had returned only two Cambodian troops. Therefore, Cambodia continues to urge the Thai side to promptly repatriate the remaining personnel in accordance with international humanitarian law. Photo AKP
Thailand broke the ceasefire with deception. 20 Cambodian soldiers were captured and only one escaped by feigning death to reveal the truth. Two are feared dead. This is a grave act against peace and human dignity.
FACT ABOUT CAMBODIA

Thai troops capture 20 Cambodian soldiers as hostages after the ceasefire takes effect; two are possibly killed.
A senior Cambodian military commander revealed to military attachés and diplomats that Thai troops had captured 20 Cambodian soldiers as hostages following the official enforcement of a ceasefire.
Brigadier General Chan Sopheaktra, Commander of the Preah Vihear Operational Area, made the statement while accompanying military attachés and diplomats from 13 countries on a field visit to observe the implementation of the ceasefire agreement between Cambodia and Thailand along the border area on Wednesday, July 30.
The same senior officer confirmed that at 5:18 a.m. on July 29, Thai forces used an armored vehicle and about 30 infantry troops to open fire with two rounds at Cambodian positions in Bos Bov Chom, despite the Cambodian side not returning fire, in strict compliance with orders from Cambodian commanders. Cambodian forces then withdrew into trenches for safety.
At that point, Thai forces launched a further attack and seized a Cambodian trench approximately 40 meters inside Cambodian territory. They then used a deceptive tactic—waving hands and calling Cambodian troops to approach for negotiations.
Brig. Gen. Chan Sopheaktra added that around six Cambodian soldiers approached the Thai troops, shook hands, and took group photos together as a gesture of goodwill. However, during the photo session, hidden Thai soldiers suddenly emerged, raised their weapons, and captured nearly 20 Cambodian soldiers.
He stated that one Cambodian soldier managed to escape, but two are believed to have been shot and possibly killed. As of the afternoon of July 30, 2025, the Thai military had not yet released the captured Cambodian troops.
Only fools and people with no common sense will believe that such a small and under-developed country as Cambodia would strike Thailand—a well developed country—first! Stop biting us and let us, Cambodians, live already!

That was the second time that Thai army stepped on a landmine in Cambodia territory, and Thailand accused Cambodia with baseless claims AGAIN.
The place was known for many unexploded mines due to the civil war in 1970-1998.

These are just a few examples of how Thai media has consistently spread misinformation during the Cambodia–Thailand armed conflicts. I’d like to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume it’s a language barrier—but truthfully, that seems unlikely.
Thailand’s celebrities and influencers, with millions of followers, are twisting the Cambodia-Thailand narrative. As a small nation, Cambodia seeks only truth, not sympathy. We don’t ask you to pick sides, just dig past headlines. Popularity shouldn’t drown out justice.

things we noticed so far are:
- Thailand keeps breaking their words agreement and acts differently
- refused and delaying themselves to the meeting
- still fired and attacked every dawn by land and air
- keep spreading fake news
