Nick Thompson

Proud dad and amateur baker. Probably daydreaming about family, food or football...

[Nick Thompson @dadbakes]

Exhausted 😴 Homemade #pizza for dinner tonight and double chocolate #brownies for desert... #baking

[Nick Thompson @dadbakes]

@Bev7088 Yes, we saw Paul and Mary's final session. Poor Mary's voice had nearly gone. All good fun!

[Nick Thompson @dadbakes]

@Bev7088 I thought it was brilliant - I ate far too much. Did you have fun?

[Nick Thompson @dadbakes]

So many tempting treats at the @BBCGoodFoodShow #GFSLDN

[Nick Thompson @dadbakes]

@Bev7088 Awesome! Is there anything, in particular, that you're looking forward to? Still need to plan my day... 😕

[Nick Thompson @dadbakes]

So I'm in London for the @BBCGoodFoodShow. Really looking forward to tomorrow... 😀

[Nick Thompson @dadbakes]

@Caroline_Simi Definitely a treat night! 🍫🍕🍻

[Nick Thompson @dadbakes]

@sammiefeasting Everyone loves pizza, everyone loves chocolate. So good but soo bad... 😕

[Nick Thompson @dadbakes]

@alicechanguk For the brownies? Made with bits of Twix and white chocolate. Hoping to write it up on the blog soon...

[Nick Thompson @dadbakes]

@LittleCookShop So good but soo bad... 😕

[Nick Thompson @dadbakes]

@saturnexpress I think I would have passed out by now if my son wasn't lovingly combing my hair (aka assaulting me with a hair brush)

[Nick Thompson @dadbakes]

@Impish_Delights Ah, thanks! Your bakes look delicious (except for the brain cake, which looks disgustingly delightful).

[Nick Thompson @dadbakes]

Preparing the pizzas with a toddler dangling from my leg! Dad skills... #bakingwithkids

[Nick Thompson @dadbakes]

Nice and simple. We baked some #doughnuts last week, using a @LakelandUK recipe... 🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩 #baking #bakingwithkids

[Nick Thompson @dadbakes]

@Emmaig1 I bake with my eldest, Lily, who is three! Mostly ensuring sure all equipment and ingredients are measured and to hand 😀

[Nick Thompson @dadbakes]

@Emmaig1 I think preparation is key - and not expecting everything to go to plan! 😉

[Nick Thompson @dadbakes]

@RosyParkerBlair I agree!

[Nick Thompson @dadbakes]

[Nick Thompson @dadbakes]

@the_monday_box They were really tasty. We smothered them in clotted cream and jam!

[Nick Thompson @dadbakes]

@SarahScudge I haven't... But I should. And I will! 😉
