Social media is more organised this time. During the NEET time, parts of it were still very organic and the cause was just - it was easy to call out the Government for failing students because it has.
I am noticing this time that the more I write against the current protest in Delhi against EC and SIR, the more pro-protest accounts are slamming me, trying to prove somehow that I am just another BJP stooge. My commentary last time did not reach these accounts it seems. Flooded with random replies this time.
The role of social media and big tech needs to be probed. It's not unknown how social media platforms use algorithms to push certain content - but it seems way more heightened this time.
