How can such a thing as that be true when folks bombard you constantly with services to supposedly help advance your book?
Services, which I might add, may or may not exist. Scammers have gotten very clever these days.
No DMs means no DMs. It can't get any clearer than that.
It's a situation like yours that worries me the most.
Like when I suddenly get bombarded by folks who offer their services to help me advance my novella.
I have no way to prove that they are legit or up to some shady s*it.
That's my two cents for right now.

I hope this doesn't get ugly. My original editor told me over a month ago that he just needed a couple more days. Two weeks later he said he had a family emergency but would finish it "definitely this week". That was over two weeks ago, I've messaged him numerous times with no response since. I don't like sending messages like this, and I really don't like being put in to positions where I have to send these

House of D. It was a beautiful, coming of age movie with a lot of heart. House of D had a great cast, including Robin Williams & Anton Yelchin, both gone too soon. It deserved better.

So yesterday I watched Code 3 starring Raine Wilson and it wasn't what I expected.
I had seen the trailer and it was marketed, I thought, as a comedy movie.
Yes, it does have comedic moments but it was a more serious film than I thought.
