@TVtrafficCop@JohnnyTrashboy@FoulTerritoryTV It’s really not. Someone sliding hard into 2nd trying to stretch a double is not attempting to go to 3rd. Literally the same logic. His right to 2nd ends as soon as he disengages. Petty? Yes. Has that been the rule of baseball for the last 100 years? Also yes.
@mikethiel83@FoulTerritoryTV Seems logical.. but you can’t realistically apply this. Say someone is sliding hard into 2nd attempting to hit a double and comes off the bag. He’s technically “not trying to advance” but that’s the rule of baseball. You have to stop on 2nd and 3rd
@JohnnyTrashboy@FoulTerritoryTV By rule After he disengages its technically an attempt to advance. As dumb as it may seem as soon as he touches 2nd then comes off the bag he’s a base runner again.
Pitchers be yelling and screaming all day in college ball.. player throws a bat in frustration for getting tossed and misses two games for it. Complete BS
Landon Hairston just got tossed 😳
He will miss Arizona State’s next game.
Hairston is the No. 6 prospect in the tournament, regardless of class.
