Title: Why is it good to use AI and blockchain together?

1. No need for Web2 databases
Blockchain removes the need to manage separate servers. For example, if we send an AI agent to space, we would normally need to set up all cloud services there. But with Solana, the agent could run entirely on the blockchain, without extra tools.

2. Transparency
Blockchain makes all data and code open for everyone to see. Right now, AI algorithms collect a lot of private data, like sounds from your phone, to show you personalized ads. With Solana getting recognized as the blockchain of choice by the President of the United States, @realDonaldTrump, it’s clear as day: Solana is the future. This milestone puts us in a position of huge responsibility to keep innovating and setting the bar high. As @mert says, it’s time to "accelerate."

That’s why we’re reaching out to introduce something that can help us speed things up even more: Code-In, a game-changing storage tech by @im_zo_eth.

What’s Code-In?

Code-In is a Solana infrastructure project that reduces costs and improves scalability for on-chain storage. It ensures full on-chain reliability by managing data through state updates instead of direct storage. We also support support on-chain GitHub to Eliza and a plugin that automatically brings recent character file from on-chain. Here are the key technical aspects:

DB PDA (Program Derived Address): Serves as a centralized access point for efficient data retrieval, ensuring fast and seamless access to user-specific data.

Split Compression: Large data is broken into smaller chunks for encoding and decoding, optimizing search and retrieval while keeping storage scalable.

State Updates: Operates entirely through state updates rather than logs, ensuring all operations remain fully on-chain and transparent.

Linked List Structure: Maintains sequential data access for scenarios that require it, complementing the centralized efficiency of the DB PDA.

Why It Matters

This reminds us of how @heliuslabs , in collaboration with Light Protocol, introduced ZK Compression in June 2024 to the Solana ecosystem. By reducing the cost of on-chain storage through state compression, they made large-scale operations like airdrops far more affordable. For example, developers were able to scale applications and perform airdrops to millions of users at a fraction of the previous cost.

Just as ZK Compression optimized Solana’s capabilities in scaling application costs, Code-In provides a solution for efficient and scalable on-chain storage. What makes Code-In unique is that it is not built on compression technology, but it can work seamlessly alongside it. Imagine combining Code-In with compression methods like ZK Compression. If ZK Compression reduces costs by 2000x and Code-In also reduces costs by 2000x, the combined effect could lead to a staggering 2000x × 2000x reduction, unlocking entirely new possibilities for on-chain storage.

Here’s a real-world example: Remember when Bitcoin miner MARA embedded a portrait of President Trump in a BTC block? It was a cool move but cost over 1 BTC in fees. With Code-In, the same thing could’ve been done for a tiny fraction of that cost.

As Solana grows and more use cases demand on-chain storage—from media to identity systems—we’re going to need infrastructure that can handle it all. That’s where Code-In comes in. It’s scalable, efficient, and totally in sync with what Solana stands for.
