The TV Networks (specifically Fox and ABC) are refusing to run this ad for @SavingCollSprts today during the games.
No good reason given as to why - just ignoring us or telling us to contact their attorneys. The General Council for one major network told me it was a “business decision”. This was AFTER we’d sent them a large wire to pay for the ads!
Why would the networks want to silence a legitimate debate around an issue that affects hundreds of thousands of kids and is existentially threatening to women’s sports and Olympic sports? What is the “business reason” that overrides the benefit and enjoyment that college sports provide to tens of millions of Americans?
What are they hiding??
If there was ever a question that money, control, and greed are being prioritized over student athletes, fans, and communities…Here you go!!
We all knew that the current situation in college sports seemed very slimy and was driven by people who couldn’t care less about the common good…. But we had no idea how bad it truly is!!
It’s become obvious…We have to drain the swamp that College Sports have become!!
This fight isn’t about me, and it certainly isn’t about TV ads - it’s much bigger. It’s about doing what is right and necessary to save a great American institution. I promise that I won’t stop fighting until we are successful in solving this problem, and I know I can count on many of you to join me!
@Jim_Jordan The same people who said they were going to vote for the DOGE cuts and loved Elon cutting waste and fraud in the government…
…never voted on the DOGE cuts
Deep down, every single one of you knew you wouldn’t.
I’m so disappointed in you.
🚨UPDATE (bad): Appropriations Committee PASSES budget... that not one member had time to read.
Watch me speak against this liberal, lawless, and fiscally irresponsible train wreck...
Then watch as every other Republican joins Democrats to pass it.
I’m sorry, Texas.
Seeing this passed around....what do you think?
The TRUMP Rules: Congressional Reform Act of 2017
1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office. And, no more perks go with them.
2. Congress (past, present, & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.
3. Congress must purchase their own retirement plan, just as ALL Americans do.
4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people (i.e. NO MORE INSIDER TRADING!!!).
7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women. Congress made all these contracts by and for themselves.
Serving in Congress is an honor and privilege NOT a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators should serve their term(s), then go home and go back to work … not get all kinds of freebies.
NO WONDER THEY’RE FIGHTING EVERYTHING HE TRIES!
🚨Gov @GregAbbott_TX just designated these two bills I’ve been fighting for for years as emergency items to make property tax hikes illegal unless voters approve them… and to require a supermajority of voters to pass it.
Thank you, Governor.
Watch me explain below.
This $500 million of the surplus should be used to LOWER PROPERTY TAXES... not subsidize liberal Hollywood!
--
From @TexasScorecard: “The Texas government is proposing to have your property taxes be $500 MILLION higher… so they can give it to liberal Hollywood!” wrote State Rep. Brian Harrison (R-Midlothian) in opposition to the proposed spending. “I will oppose the liberal ‘Texas Moving Image Industry Incentive.’ Texans are overtaxed, and Hollywood doesn’t need your money!”
Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller stressed in his post on X that Hollywood was already dying and productions “can’t get out of California fast enough.”
“Texas will benefit without subsidizing the folks that brought us woke, anti-Christian bigotry, socialism, transgenderism, etc,” stated Miller.
State Rep. Andy Hopper (R-Decatur) said he was a “Hard nope.”
“The success or failure of this venture does not, and should not, depend on government forking over your hard earned money,” wrote Hopper.

🚨 Watch me expose the shocking details of the DEMOCRAT EMPOWERMENT ACT OF 2025 which @Burrows4TX rammed through with no debate.
He disputes none of them.
