There was a wrestler in Makkah named Rukāna who was famous throughout Arabia for his strength. No one had ever been able to pin his back to the ground. Wrestlers used to come from around the region to challenge him, but no one could defeat him. One day, Rasūl Allāh ﷺ asked him to accept Islām, accosted him, and delivered to him the message of Islām. Rukāna said that he would accept Islām if Rasūl Allāh ﷺ defeated him in a wrestling match, so it was agreed.

When it began, the Prophet ﷺ caught him abruptly and pinned him to the ground! Rukāna was astonished at what had happened. He told the holy Prophet ﷺ that this was mere chance and asked for a second bout. Again, the same thing happened. Then the wrestler asked for a third match. The Prophet ﷺ caught hold of him and defeated him again.

He asked Rukāna, “Do you want to see something more amazing than this?” Rukāna said, “What can be more amazing?” He said, “You see that tree over there? I will call that tree to me, and the tree will move towards me.” The Prophet ﷺ called the tree, and the tree moved from its spot and came and stood right in front of the Prophet ﷺ. The Beloved ﷺ then told the tree to return to its place, and it did so. [Sunan Abī Dāwūd]

Our beloved Prophet ﷺ is the strongest man to have ever walked this earth. It is also worth noting that he was around 50 years old when he wrestled the man.
